Twilight is not better than zahak's (or grim). IIRC, NQ Grim is better than Zahak's if your attack is low, which would be rare. Fighting something with atk down/massive stat down ala ulhuadshi or w/e his name is comes to mind.

this is for outside was wondering if there is anything I could change or add.

cuauhtli headpeice +1 for head, (7 str dex agi, archery skill +6)
grip can use the crit% grip or crit dmg one.
since you sub ninja, get onerios dagger (10% crit dmg) and the carbinner's dagger.
for ws, can use ruszor arrow.
hope those byakkos have 4% crit dmg on them as well.

my byakkos have crit 4 and ranged attack 3 and i was subbed nin to try and proc sam and nin ws during voidwatch which actually worked once

Looking for general advice on DRG. Friend is a recent 85Rhong Owner, and has been looking for ways to improve her damage because she believes its gimp. Probably is, anyway, I'm going to post her basic Gear... And I'm looking for a little advice if anyone has it.

^That for TP, switch rongo with corsesca, they have the same delay. Gives 5 hit and capped haste (well, 25%).
Outside TP shouldn't really change all that much since drg has plenty of native accuracy along with 2hnd bonus. Not to mention the TP setup gives a decent amount of acc.

^That's what I'd use for WS on the inside. I like AF3+2 body over twilight mail because of the attack, over the 1 str/dex.

I'm not so sure about an outside WS set, but I'm not sure that much would change. That WS set has a large amout of dex and str for outside WS. Augment Nfeet with the str/polearm/crit rate or bonus (I forget which it gets).
