@49% with Arhat's +1 and Metallon, so technically Metallon is superior damage reduction. That said, Shadow Mantle may prevent loss of shadows and you get 15 eva back. Either one works, just depends on what you're going for.

Meh, I would never use shadow mantle over metallon on ninja (Unless ofc I could hit 50% w/o backslot). I don't see any reason to gimp a guarenteed set for a general loss in defense that has a 5% chance to annull and probably no bearing on your eva rate for 95% of game content.

I just explained why: if the mantle procs, you don't lose your shadows. I believe Kirschy said the mantle has a 1/16 procrate. The difference in average damage taken would thus be 1.5%; if the 7.85% difference per unproc'd hit would matter you can likely use Migawari, or just toggle your PDT back over to Metallon. Regarding evasion, honestly, if I have autocapped evasion on it I generally don't care about maxing PDT to begin with.

I think he's pretty close to 100/100, but so are a few other people I know. I didn't mean to come off as condescending to Jimbob's post of 50/100 sets, I just assumed most people had finished their +2s for all of their playable jobs and even most of their extra jobs..

Has anyone finished all the Empyrean weapons yet? I know Blittz is close, but I assume some JP or active American has done it already.

Don't use SAM much but are there any obvious improvements I'm missing? My moonshade earring is already set for another job,

With Rose strap : Tactical Mantle, Hoard ring.
Without : Goading, Tactical Mantle, Hoard ring.

WS : Byrnie +1, Snow/Light belt, Atheling Mantle, Vulcan/Pyrosoul ring, if you have it you can swap the STR earring for Aesir ear pendant.

Your current WS build is better for GYK.

Would not use a tp set with tactical, can 5hit without and a 6hit without is still probably better. Unrelated note, all the new zanshin/ikishoten stuff has me completely confused on what the ideal tp set is now, anyone have any tips?

TPing in an Excelsis Ring has always been a giant pet peeve of mine. Especially on a two hander. Better to use a Strigoi Ring, it'll give you near equivalent attack and more fSTR. (I forget when STR=>attack formulas floor, but at that STR it looks like Strigoi would give you 8 attack.)

It's better than Spiral Ring too for WS even if you don't want to shell out for a +7, but I'm guessing you're only using the Spiral to save inventory space since it doubles for BLU?

Most set I see posted here have 24, 25% haste and some add the fact that they have 3 AF3+2 pieces that way for set bonus.
This set has 26% haste, is a 5hit and you can swap every STP piece out for WS except for brutal and rajas (thanks to the new trait tier). Anyone can explain?

Assuming you have Hasso active, the AF3+2 legs add 2.5% JA haste, pushing the total haste you gain from the piece to 6.5%. Meanwhile, you're sacrificing a pretty significant chunk of ATT and double attack (and some potential fSTR in certain situations) during TP phase by the switches you're making.
