They also have a reputation for throwing batteries and beer bottles at people and players, keying and slashing tires of cars donning opponent logos, amongst other things. Do a google search. A brewer jersey at a dogder game is nothing compared to this.

I actually had to text this to my sports friends as we live in LA and know full well about the city of brotherly hate.

LA bus to Vegas 9/3 - UW vs. UNLV football

Fly to NYC 9/7 - hang out with high school friends and/or Ryko

Bus to Philly 9/10 - hang out with Penthesilea and see Packers @ Eagles with him

Bus to NYC 9/12 or early on the 13th - just to get to the airport - Jetblue doesn't fly from Philly

Fly to Austin 9/13 (tentative) - Hang out with HS friends, roadtrip to a couple Brewers @ Astros games in Houston

Fly to San Francisco 9/16 - Hang out with HS friends, Brewers @ Giants

Fly to Puerto Rico 9/20 (arrive the 21st - $16) - Hang out with Kuya, cool my hot heart with a fresh island song

Fly to Costa Rica 9/25 ($16) - Do rainforest-y things I guess?

Fly to NYC 9/28 ($39) - Brewers @ Mets

Bus to Boston 10/1 (I can't fly on 10/1 since it's Friday, and I can't fly out of NYC late enough to catch the last Mets game and still make my flight - I'm not totally sold on this plan but we'll see) - hang out with a friend

Fly to Washington D.C. 10/4 - hang out with HS friend

Fly home to LAX 10/6.

Ok, so Costa Rica is great, but be prepared for some long bus rides to anywhere worth going.

Dominical is awesome if you like to surf, Manuel Antonio is decent, and Jaco sucks.
Either way it's lots of bus rides, so plan to be spending a lot of time bouncing around on dirt roads with sweaty people packed together.

Edit: if you go to Manuel Antonio, check out the restaurant on the top of the hill that has an old US plane used in the Iran-Contra affair. Fantastic food and probably the most expensive meal you'll buy there at around 15$.

I won't get into New York in time for the 28th game, I'm planning on going to the 29th-30th games, possibly with a high school friend or two, but I dunno. Do you wanna come? The only sports tickets I've bought so far are for the Packers/Eagles game (which reminds me I need to get my Wisconsin/UNLV tickets soon)

Also, if you can get me a ticket for the Sept. 8th day game vs. the Orioles and wanna go to that I'm game, I get into town late on the 7th - it's the only Yankee game I'd be able to go to since they're out of town so much in September.

Possibly, though that's in the middle of the week and I'm not sure how long it'll take me to get to Citi Field from here. Let me know if you're going for sure though and I'll try to make it. I hear they have good food there, at least ;P
