haha they're trying to remake the .jp 'man on the street' trailers via youtube, minus the spontaneity.

delicious
It's been awhile since I looked at the game, but is it the style for their eyes to be so fucking far apart?
Damnit, might have to finally get around to buying a console this year.

amazon has the deluxe version available for pre order now.
Totally pre-ordered the deluxe version on Amazon.
To be frank the deluxe version is lackluster, and would only be worth the extra 20 bucks if it were the only way to get the music/artbooks. A shirt worn by a girl in men's large, a weeaboo pillowcase and a big cardboard box just don't measure up to the other premiums dished out for deluxe editions (see Disgaea 4 super premium package)
I'm not sure comparing a 79 dollar package to a 119 dollar package is really a good comparison. This would be more like comparing it to the regular premium package on Disgaea 4, and honestly even then you're comparing a single figure and a soundtrack + art book to a shirt, boxers, a pillow case, a pizza box and a soundtrack + art book. I don't really see the difference, or how this is lackluster in contrast (granted, I think boxers and a shirt are pretty dumb for a collector's edition, but just sayin'). If anything Atlus is actually offering a better premium package, depending on what your tastes are.
Ok, let's compare it to the mid-tier Disgaea 4 premium box

I agree, there is no objective comparison that can be made between a nendoroid and the pillowcase/tee shirt/boxer shorts. I hope I don't come off as knocking people who like the Catherine premiums, just expressing disappointment over the cost and narrow appeal they represent. For $20 I was hoping Atlus could appeal to a broader audience with their famously niche games. You can't tempt new fans with weird non-toys.
I'll agree with that, especially given the demographic. Personally, I don't care about Catherine either way, and I guess I don't understand what the difference between a nendoroid and a figurine is. Hope you didn't view my post as an attack on your opinion or anything, was just making a point.
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but english preview:

Hard to hear english voice overs with the guy talking![]()
Huh, they made it easier...pity.
Is this a dating sim or something? I keep seeing stuff about this game but it doesn't look like a game more like a movie or simulation you're playing through.
You play a guy caught between a long-time girlfriend mounting increasing pressure on his easygoing bachelorhood and a one night stand who will not leave him alone no matter what. You get to make decisions during the day about how to treat each girl and this affects the ending you get. At night Vincent is caught in nightmares seeded in his relationship problems and he has to do the tower-climbing you've seen in trailers to survive to the next day. The story is pretty well told, but I can see folks wishing there was more to the core gameplay than the puzzle elements. It's fun but perhaps not $60 worth of fun.
