Is this a dating sim or something? I keep seeing stuff about this game but it doesn't look like a game more like a movie or simulation you're playing through.

The story and art look great to the point that I wish it was an anime movie or series, but in reality that great story is imbedded in what is merely a puzzle game.

Oh, this is good. I can't say I haven't been mildly interested in this game the more I read about it, but I was totally on the fence about the actual gameplay involved in it. Good to see a demo of something like this hitting the English speaking markets, should make buying/not buying a pretty easy decision now.

English Catherine Demo Coming To PSN & XBLA Next Week

While you may have played Catherine before, next week you’ll be able to try Atlus’ romantic nightmare in English.



Atlus USA will release an English demo of Catherine on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on July 12. The demo will introduce players to Vincent, show some of the animated scenes made from Studio 4°C, and have Vincent climb up a block tower to save his life.



Catherine will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 26.

So I've been following this game closely and it doesn't look like it will be comming to the UK any time soon (or at all, really) and I just wanted to ask, would I be ok importing it from the US to play on a UK PS3? Or would I need a US PS3 also?

No region lock for games on PS3. That's being said the game is supposed to hit EU in Q3 of this year afaik.

I love his voice when he's having difficulty trying to get the disc out of the case. That's the exact reason I hate eco-cases that have holes punched out on the disc side. Thankfully I shouldn't have to deal with that BS on the PS3 release.
