What looks worse than your laptop? (What's with 4GB RAM on an X58 and 850W PSU though?).

    "looks like crap?"

For starters...what are you talking about?

When you say "it" looks like crap, what exactly are you referring to?

ok... thought it was tech in ffxi forums...
i play ffxi... sorry for the bad op... been up a long time building this damn thing and fighting with it the whole way.
the picture quality of just the sample pictures is amazing, i have this guy plugged into my 32" hdtv via the hdmi output from the 5750. but ffxi looks like crap! the txt is hard to read and the characters look "blocky" like legos... ive gone through all the screen resolutions on the ffxi config but nothing smooths it out. i thought yea mobo or grafix drivers too but ive put those disks in and re installed them 3 different times.

you need to raise your background resolution through registry key

can do a google search ffxi registry background resolution and you'll learn how to do it

Start, run, regedit, local machine, software, playonline, square enix, ffxi,

0003, 0004 from 400 to 800 or whatever it is you want your resolution to be, it even says it after it's edited under the "Data" column. Must both be the same.

Stop installing the disc drivers, go get the new shit from the manufacturers website.
