Flawless victory.
In b4 Sony bricks all unlocked consoles connected to PSN.
I do love how the PSP codes were found in the PS3 though.
So I just thought of something: whats going to happen when the PSP2 hits? If the PS3 is now so open with as much access to the inner workings of the system as people have, would the systems be able to link without the PSP2 being vunerable attacks?
It's a huge start.....

PS3 CFW creator for any firmware?
Mostly a proof of concept but damn this got me excited.
I mean, until they release the repackaged homebrews because you can't do much right now.
I never was tech savvy enough (or balsy enough) to jailbreak my PS3 to play backups off the HDD, so hopefully this opens the door for a more user-friendly approach.
This actually is kind of unattractive to me. I assume this means more people hacking multiplayer type games? I honestly don't want to see the PS3 turn into a hacker's paradise like the 360 when it comes to games like CoD etc. That's if this has a large bearing on the ability to hack games. If not then disregard.
It's pretty much gonna be hackers paradise, in the long run there's nothing they can do to stop hacked consoles from going online, and we can modify the game files now for mods/cheats.
inb4 cd key based MP for every new game.
Cause you know it's comin'
Latest script should restore game save data, etc.. also with PS1/PS2 support for BC machines (unlike the jailbreak). IT'S DONE! :D
turns out my week prediction became a single day. now the waiting on a proper backup manager begins...
PSPgo, Hacked, time to pick on of those things up finally
