Going to do this tomorrow, after I pick up a bigger HDD from MicroCenter. I downloaded everything I need, and have the Youtube vid fav'd. Question about MultiMan, since that seems to be a lot of people's tool of choice.. What do I do with that? Like where would it be installed in regards to that video. Second part of question, if I use MM, I can transfer files via that and my PC via FTP? (a bit confused on that part)

Seems like only those who glitched in black ops, or were running a bootleg copy online were banned.

Can I say take my DLC from DJ hero 2 on my old hard drive and put it into the new hard drive? I don't mind downloading it or whatever from a torrent site, but I don't see any that have it. I'm guessing there is a way to do it, but I would need to partition a portion of my external to do this and then transfer it to the new one.

i'm assuming that since when i load games from hd or my external and it goes straight to XMB i'm fucked?

edit: i tried running it in discless mode and direct boot and it loaded the game, but now i'm stuck at a loading screen. any advice while i direct my attention to googole?

Yeah you need a BR loaded to load most games, I found this thread , might be helpful to you.

edit: are the textures supposed to look like complete shit? oh wow i just pressed the home button and it brought me back to the XMB. lol

Forgive me if this was answered in an earlier post, I read the thread above and it seems possible, but I wanted to be sure. With the new CFW are all games able to be booted without a disc now?

I have an older fat PS3 that has a burned out laser and was able to successfully boot a few older games without disc with a teensy board back before this CFW was released. But a lot of the newer games required a disc inside. Just wanted to check and see if anyone has had luck with new games loading straight from an external HD. Thanks!

Anyone have any luck getting AC: Brotherhood to load up? I keep getting the black screen. Created an ASSASSINS_ISO folder inside the USDIR folder and it did squat.

As soon as I grab it, I'll let you know. It's on 'The List' I'm guessing you already tried different managers to get it to launch, yeah?

Also; Any other games that won't launch? I hear just about everything works.

Upon digging around in the PSX Scene forums, they said it should be working with Kaemw's 3.55 CFW.

I have read stuff about hard drive corruption. I just went out yesterday and bought one, so I don't want to take the chance of trashing it.
