You need a bluray drive.

If you don't have one, you rip it to your PS3 hard drive and FTP it to your PC. It might be possible to rip to an external hard drive but I'm not sure.

Also, GoW3 has files bigger than 4GB I'm pretty sure which means it won't work off an external drive anyway. Doublechecking that.

edit: Doublechecked. Yes it has files over 4GB so it can only be run from internal hard drive.

Assuming the game doesn't have any (single) files bigger than 4 GB, you can transfer it with an external storage device too. That's how I've done all my games so far. Probably some out there that can't be done like that though.

Yeah, I have a bluray drive. What's involved? I just used GoW as an example, so for whatever games fit the <4 gb files. Which are quite a lot of them. I've only encountered one thus far, and it was Vanquish.

I don't know how to do it through that method. I just know that people ripped FF13 long before the JB was available. Never seen any tutorials on it because it was never necessary.

Best option for you is to rip to internal and then use a file manager to transfer it to your USB.

edit: For example I use "Awesome File Manager".

Yeah, trying to open it now. When I go into my E: drive though (blu ray) I can't even open it in a new window cause it says it's copy protected. (which makes sense) Guess I need something else to view/copy the files

Dante's Inferno, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2, Eternal Sonoata, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Heavenly Sword, The Sly Collection, are all in my queue in Gamefly. I'll have them for a day and return them to get another.

Gonna abuse the shit out of the 2/games per month 30 day try for 8.95. Then cancel :D

Ok now my stuff is not working correctly and I don't know why

Downloaded the lastest Gaia Manager 2.04 (iirc) installed it np

Downloaded Dragon Ball Raging Balst 2 today and transfered it to my PS3 with multiman NP

If I got to multiman I see that I have FFXIII in my BD and 2 games on my HDD (Dragon Ball and Mortal Kombat)

But w/e I use HDD games it says "Do you want to load this game without going back to XMB) I say yes and it just sends me back to my XMB

Then IF i go to Gaia Manager all i see is FFXIII in my BD I cannot see my 2 transfered games anymore (I was seeing MK before I upgraded to 2.04)

Any tips?

There's also multiple versions that read from different folders (GAMEZ, GAMES and BDRIPS), make sure you have the right one/games in the right folder.

No real advice other than delete Raging Blast 2. That shit is a waste of hard drive space even if free. I checked it out the other day. I miss the days of Budokai.

Get Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, that is a good anime based fighter, with a pretty solid story mode and some epic battles.

You don't click yes there. Click no, go back to XMB and click the spoofed disc for the game you want to play.
