So anyone have problems with backups not running? I just got my gamefly account, just wondering if I'm gonna be s.o.l a few weeks down the road after burning these games and finding out that they no longer work.

No disc in drive, KMEAW Firmware is made for that.
weird.. I been told you need a disk in there to boot games on your HDD. Thanks for the input!
You did originally. There was a workaround discovered and now it's built in to some backup managers.
Like Gaia manager, i posted it like a page or two back...
Good to know it's that cheap. I'll probably swing by tomorrow. I had originally purchased it new for 360 last year on release day and loved it. I go through games fairly quick and then sell them on half or amazon while their price is still high. A year or two down the line they are usually in a bargain bin of sorts. The PS3 version does this game no justice, even for free.
I'm more interested in still like actual DLC. Like the track packs from DJ Hero and whatnot. I had them on the old harddrive, but when I got the 500 gb internal, I didn't do the transfer. I suppose I could, but I'd much rather just dl it. I know Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 won't run without you being connected to PSN, so that's a no go, but I wasn't really looking forward to that one as much as the original.
I dont know if any sites are hosting DLC other then downloadable games.
I used the DNS 67.202.81.137 for primary and same for secondary 67.202.81.137 and was able to bypass the 3.56 update and get into the PSN Store.
(I plugged my modem directly to PS3 while I did this, as routers can conflict DNS settings.)
If you have your old account, theres a list on the top right of stuff you've downloaded, and anything with a red psn bag icon means you bought it already.
I was able to re-download SSF4 costumes and I bought the 3-pack for Red Dead.
goddamn!!
dumb question but can you still run retail games with the cfw installed? Or will they need some stupid update and such, more or less looking at like MvC3 for online play but thats pretty much it atm.
PSN just got killed for CFW. Someone on /v/ was claiming it still works with a proxy/firmware spoofer, but I'm pretty sure they're bullshitting as I've seen absolutely nobody else mentioning it on other forums. MvC3 should be playable on CFW however, since copies should have been produced before 3.56 came out. Online is out of the question for now though.
I know 3.56 doesn't have a crack yet, but I'm wondering what's gonna happen when games require you do an update before you play them. I guess this isn't as easy as say cracking PSP updates.
Current games that require OFW 3.55 can still be run on CFW 3.41 or below, via modified Eboots that get released a few days after a game is released. It should probably be the same for games requiring 3.56 updates, however the only big game coming out that will probably require 3.56 would be socom.
Oh Kevin, you tease us so.

If you didn’t feel bad enough for Sony, this one should break your heart. Mistaking the long chain of hex characters for Battleship coordinates, @TheKevinButler retweeted the ID generator key for the USB Dongle used to circumvent PlayStation 3 security. The offending tweet has since been deleted, but the company has lost so much face they look like Madonna in Dick Tracy.
You know, The Blank. Gah, you kids!
Anyway this is luckily not the security crack currently under litigation, so we won’t be sued for posting the image (yet). I kinda wish I could give Sony a hug and a cup of cocoa.
