I'm trying to replace the edited Param.sfo under the /PS3_GAME/

And it won't let me delete it or replace it.

DA2 is on my internal at the moment.

My FTP program just says it won't let me delete it or replace it.

Wow, Sony is just full of massive fail lately. I've visited it a few times after following links in articles on places like Slashdot, but my PS3 is sittin legit (just got it for Xmas.) Don't really feel like voiding my warranty because I don't think my PS3's gonna hold up too long even with proper care.

Sony is gonna need a lot of paper to hold the names/IPs of everyone that's seen that page in the last couple of years. Shits been linked so many times from so many different places I can only imagine the traffic it's had.

I feel bad for anyone who still supports them. Sony died with the PS2 which is a real shame since they were truly awesome till then. It seems they suffer from the same problem that SquareEnix suffers from for quite some time. Fucktarded company executives making bad calls continuously. Maybe they will clean house one day and get their shit together.

It holds about as much merit when the RIAA said everyone that visited eDonkey's official page had their IP's logged and they would be submitted to court as evidence that they were pirating. (Back in 2003 iirc)

Nothing will happen, its just to deter the smaller group of people which believe it. In return they stay away.

Trying moving it to /game first. I couldn't delete anything when I had stuff in GAMES

What I dont get is why people have not learned. Look at the record industry, did anything they did(doing) help at all? no Apple finally got it right. It gave people a reason not to steal. They need get with the times and deal with the fact people are going to keep on pirating.

It is really the case here with sony.

They wanted to fight the possibility of pirating by removing OtherOS, and it just opened a can of worms and just look at where we are now.......

anyone have a solution for netflix not working on 3.55 kmeaw? netflix forced me to update and now it says you must have 3.56 to run netflix blah blah Q_Q i tried using the disc since that worked on 3.41 when we couldn't connect to PSN at all but it just says download netflix from the XMB now.

Tried with other FTP servers on the PS3? May have to change permissions too Filezilla > Right Click > File Permissions

Bit curious if that'll stop any means of patching/spoofing in PSN support on cfw PS3s, and whether or not they can just simply patch games that need fw3.60 to run on something lower.

This is new, but its a 3.60 spoofer with online support.

Can give it a shot and see if netflix works?

I haven't updated multiMAN since it removed the ability to play backups without using lv2. All I do now is just fire up the manager, pick the game I want, and back out to the xmb to start it. What's changed regarding it?

If you get banned, your console is gonna be the thing that gets hit so it really shouldn't matter. Some people have cleared their play history and stuff before going online, but I just got PSN working again last night without doing any of that and haven't been banned or anything. Only used Adhoc Party though and not tried to play online with any pirated games.
