Would Carvanos mantle’s increased crit outdo Belenos on WAR assuming cookie cutter gears, 8/8GA V.bhuj, turban haub+1, haste hands waist legs feet etc…(in abyssea-assuming WITH RR and VV atma’s; abyssea XP mobs not NM)
^ Thanks.
What about swapping pole to brave grip?
Should also win, provided you use raging rush exclusively.
10% Native DA
5% Brutal
5% merits
10% Eve
=30%
1.32/1.3 = .015
1.32^2/1.3^2 = 1.7424 / 1.69 = 1.031
1.5% increase on TP damage, 3.1% increase on WS damage from pole
3.5% * .75 = 2.625% tp/ws damage
main problem would be if it's additive to crit damage+:Major from atma instead of multiplicative and it's a large bonus, you'd get decreasing returns
I don't have a good selection of Atma yet, and was wondering which two of these would work best for a Dark Knight
Atma of the Hero
Atma of the Sellsword
Atma of the Winged Enigma
Assume ~130 STR and ~650 attack without atma.
For BLM nukes: 17 INT and 5 MAB vs. 9 INT and 9 MAB inside Abyssea assuming both Furtherance Abyssites and Atma of Heavens for -jas and Tier 5s. I don't have Minikin yet... Is it safe to assume that dINT*M gives half value at this point?
The equipment in question is Goetia Head +1/Goetia Legs +2/Yigit Feet vs. Morrigan Head/Legs/Feet with the set bonus. Basically, I'm wondering at what point does full Morrigan lose. I'm assuming it's still not enough to break the set and would have to +2 the head and/or get +2 feet and the +7 MAB hands.
Quirmizango tathlum vs bombcore or bomlet on nin?
Inside and outside abyssea using eve and razed ruin atma.
Also. Kamome vs sekka+1 dex weap. offhand is isatu.
Some random data from the last time i used my nin in an abyssea alliance
19% crit rate vs mobs pre razed ruin.
Average jin is 1058.67
High was 2258.
No brd/cor/dnc in the pt i was in.
Full perle or Turban/ares/homam/homam/lancers schynbalds+1 for DRG/SAM and DRG/NIN?
Relative stats going from perle to mixed sets.
-45def
+7str
-3acc
-10str
-14dex
+9vit
+1 haste
-1 enmity
-2% crit rate.
+sizable chunk of HP/mp
+ refresh
+ fastcast
Lancer's setup provided you don't need the acc (lol).
Full Usukane vs Tantra+1 Head/Legs + Usu Body/Feet/Hands for TP?
Comes out to: "Subtle Blow" +8, "Kick Attacks"+5, Increases "Perfect Counter" attack
vs...
STR+8 DEX+5 AGI+3 Attack+3 Evasion +7
With Pizza +1, Tantra +1 combo is about 2% ahead, as you'll likely be well over the accuracy cap. Usu set has a higher acc buffer, though, so if you switched to Bison Steak and adjusted gear slightly then full Usu is about 2% ahead. Subject to fluctuation with various buffs/debuffs/etc.
Overall, if you need to keep Usu hands on for the acc while using Tantra +1, full Usu will do better. If you can afford to switch to OKote (purely in terms of accuracy), the Tantra +1 pieces will do better.
What would be better to use for BRD debuffs? The +3 skill Quire grip or the elemental grips? I want to say the Quire grip, but, I wanted to be positive.
If you think grips can make a difference in landing and not landing debuffs at lv85, then we're not playing the same game.
I use just staff strap for all my mage jobs.
Saves space.
While I agree with you...it's a pretty poor attitude, and why carry a grip at all? Do you think -2enm and 20mp has ever once made a difference on a fight? Point is any small amount will probably never amount to anything, but when you start dropping everything that on it's own doesn't make a difference, you will end up with a difference. This goes for DD jobs/etc too...you're not going to notice a difference if a melee just skips his grip slot all together, but it's still gimp/inferior/etc, and once in a blue moon it alone may be the difference.
True, brb selling my staff strap now since it's a waste of space, not game breaking enough to justify one inventory.
If i need that 20 mp and -2 enmity to survive, i might as well quit game.
