Yeah but in the meanwhile should I get the togi or just hold on my money, I mean, would it have any uses considering my aurore? I'm surely going to get af if it doesn't suck lol

Hold onto your money and get RR and VV+GS+SS atmas instead ^^
GS? And you forgot GH.
Pretty sure the margin between a Togi and a Doublet is very thin; which way it goes depends on what you're doing. Unless cursed togis are cheap on your server I honestly wouldn't bother until the the stats of AF bodies become known, and even then, it'll probably be junk after that (although the price of cursed togis might plummet).
I don't think any jobs besides MNK ever have cause to wear a Shura Togi either, so at this point I'm not really sure it's worth uncursing. That said, I'm no math wiz so anyone who actually knows is free to put me to shame.
Yes I was talking about the atma from Windurst Rank 10, not the one from Ovni...
Heavens is more balanced than Baying Moon for sure, but I wasn't looking for a balanced setup for Atma. I was looking for what has the best damage. There are tons of ways to get MP back in Abyssea: Elixers, Ethers, Convert, Martellos, Refresh Gear, Refresh II etc.. I'd much rather go into Abyssea and kill something faster and end up at low MP than kill something slower and be at full MP.
Double refresh atma vs Impreg Tower / MM rdm duoing w/o being able to chain ascetics
I know thorny would say double refresh but I find that in most fights I actually have to try to burn my mp pool. My rationale atm is double refresh for anything I can cycle all of my high tier nukes consistently as soon as the timer is up. Impreg/MM would be for mobs that have nasty tp shots (1k+), resistant to magic, or takes extra dmg from magic ( all of this meaning that with added macc from atma I could stack matt/int in all slots unless, of course, reason 1 is in play.). Is there something massive I'm overlooking?
I find whenever I'm lowman/manaburning something, it's easy to get away with MM and anything else that suits the situation. Ambition is good if you're going to need to kite something, that fast cast can be a lifesaver.
Most of the time, when I do something like that it's always with people less skilled than I am, so if it involves kiting, the mob is usually on me ~90% of the time. Example: The last time I did Blazing Eruca, I was with a RDM, COR and a PUP. The PUP had no hate at all because he would nuke -> dismiss -> activate -> repeat, and the COR and RDM just couldn't stack up to my damage (BLM btw) partially because the RDM was derptastic (very low skill levels, just leveled RDM in abyssea etc.) But, I got creative and used the Movement Speed/Fast Cast combo from Ambition and with it I was able to stun his spellcasts and cast an aga III before he could catch up to me.
tl;dr though: depends what you're actually doing.
Empyrean weapons seem to have edge over their relic counterparts atm.
are relic bow/guns overshadowed by their empyrean counter parts as well?
Judging from the person in my ls who has emp-1 upgraded I'm going to say yes. However, I'm going to point out that the advantage of the relic bow/gun was not that it put out insane dmg every ws but that it made moderate damage basically hate free. The empyreon does not offer this benefit and, tbh, if a rng can't afford to be spamming ws, ra, or kc tp'ing I don't see a reason for the job because otherwise it just falls behind. So yes, it will outdamage the relics. Overall, it will probably preform equally or less than them though once you factor in time not shooting because you need to be kiting or other defensive maneuvers.
Blm enfeebling pants, Igqira Lappa (10 Enfeebling skill) vs. Goetia Chausses +2 (12 Magic Accuracy).
Wiki claims 1 magic accuracy is the same as 1 enfeebling skill, by that logic Goetia wins right? Or is there more to it that I'm missing here? While wearing Igqira Lappas, I have 348 skill and 9 magic accuracy.
Yes, Goetia is better.
Beyond/MM
Impreg is extremely situational, and even without ascetics there's not much in abyssea that resists a halfass rdm with merits and capped skill. Also, 1k+ TP shot is not nasty.. if it's doing less than 2k it's not going to kill a competent RDM ever.
It's not double refresh vs impreg, minikin is a given. If you're not using all your mp, pair it with beyond for maximum damage. You're not gaining ~40 MAB from any amount of M.acc->MAB swaps anyway(exact value dependant on how frequently you use blizzard, hurp).I know thorny would say double refresh but I find that in most fights I actually have to try to burn my mp pool. what's better for dnc (for violent flourish)
kila +1 41 dmg 190 delay 60 MP magic accuracy 14
or
kila +1 42 dmg 195 delay added affect lowers magic evasion 15
only using 1, the other dagger would be eva most likely. and this would be for a party situations for the most part where stuns need to be reliable.
What are people enfeebing with now adays, duelist chap or estq chap +1?
I'd use Esto Chap for slow/para/lolblind and duelist's for anything without potency. I still carry duelist's around for idling in refresh but if you have a refresh hairpin Chappel+1/2 isn't a bad replacement barring the Bakka Drop. Relic hat+1 is pure whitebox really.
nvm
For nuking : Teal saio v Oracle's Robe? I tend towards the Oracles ( we're popping Sara tomorrow).
And if it is situational, what I need to worry about to work it out?
