No idea, but it would need to and need to make the set bonus noticable in order to make the gloves worth using.

Just wondering how people are seeing War's current AF3 and what they think it the best set up?

I've mostly been focusing on TP but this is what I figure. Also depending on the GAX you're using the amount of STP would change. Also depending on haste levels w.turban might still be better than AF3 I'm guessing.

just went over this a couple of posts back, goading, turban, hoard, stp body, rose strap, tactical mantle would all be better choices. war can now pretty much 5 hit with any gax, so you should be shooting for that along with capped haste.

See the last few posts before yours. Af3 head is a WS piece, use it as such. Use a haste head and stack storetp everywhere else for a 5 hit.

According to my calculations you need 39+15(sam sub) stp to get down to 5 hit (without VV regain)... 14+15(sam sub) for 6 hit, my build has 8 stp with 25% haste (and a VV regain tic to bridge the gap) (15.9 x 6 = 95.4) thats 3 VV regain tics or 2 and a double atack on ws. I dont seem to be getting stuck at 98 or 99 tp often so I dont see how amping up with all the gear you mention goading 5, hoard 4, lorica 5, rose 4, tactical 6(4 more then belenos), 1 brutal, 5 ring = 30 stp ... (18.8 x5 = 94 tp ) and needs 3 regain tics.. to lose a bunch of accuracy and crit rate 3%/double attack 4%/ crit damage 3ish%

to note i am almost always tanking 1 VV regain tic + enemy hitting twice is usually enough to push me to 100%

staying with my current build if the STP atma gives around 30 STP (major is usually 30?) i should be gold

You are giving up a little crit rate and double attack for 25% more WS damage, it is a good trade. Get a 5 hit. If the store tp atmas are a huge amount then that's great, use them to get a 5 hit. Even if they aren't, get a 5 hit anyways.

I also highly doubt Major STP is 30. I would guess it's more like 10~15. Minor is 5 iirc.

EDIT: Also, for thf, Mainhand Dex Kila +1/2 Offhand Auric Dagger (24% haste) or Mainhand Auric Dagger and offhand Rapidus Sax (25% haste)? I assume that once I finish my af3 +2 gear and get a bullwhip, where I can cap haste without the sax that the first option is better, but until then I wanna know if the +2-4 extra base damage and dex on the kila beats the +1 haste/lower delay on the sax.

I don't cap haste even with the sax in my current setup, if that would make a difference.

37 Stp, 26% Haste, 5 hit with a VV tick, if the STP atma is any good (at least 10), swapping Tac > Bel, Alm > Rav neck, and Tath > Rav stone would drop 8 Stp for a true 5 hit without VV required, giving a bit of wiggle room, but there's not much else really worth swapping I don't think. That +2 body is fucking sextastic.

Ya that'll be what I'm using once I finish upgrading. Still plan on working towards Ukon but my play time probably won't allow for it. On my server I believe there's a lot of people going after Glavoid too because the NMs are camped a lot surprisingly.

As for the DW thing that's sort of why I was asking. Before Scars came out I was reading the general agreement was that @ 90 DW > 2-hander but this is before DW + haste proven to cap @ 80% and a lot of gear/atmas.

Nah I don't but I'm guessing that the OA2-4 axe probably out does Ridill now.
