Woops, I fail at calculator. Dunno how it compares to a Weaponskill Anwig but it should be better than the Hissho Hachimaki.

Assuming an extra five skill per level to 85 though, I don't think it will break a tier with Faith (unless I failed again, which is likely), so at that point I dunno if it'd be worth using the Tokon and a gorget or Faith and a different head piece.

At a glance Odium Ring and Champion's Galea are up/sidegrades (Galea's an improvement over Bahamut's elsewhere), nothing else jumps out as an improvement over old gear but I only skimmed.

It depends, if you don't need accuracy, AF+1 is no better than Perle. You will eventually want to upgrade to Onyx gloves but it is really a very minor upgrade (1 str). Attack is where it is at when you look at guillotine thanks to the god awful modifier.

Besides the Legs Onyx gear is overrated. Att is too easy to get, esp on DRK.

I personally find Onyx feet awesome as well for guillotine. Personal preference honestly, and I have AF+1 boots. Attack is easy to get for DRK but it doesn't mean you are capped all the time.

I have been using AF+1 boots a while for Guillotine. The question I have is using nq Black Sollerets so close in damage to AF+1 feet to not warrant using, making it so it is either Onyx or bust? Also, with the advent of Sentry/Anguinus belt, I'm thinking of using Perle head rather than upgrading Ares Mask for maximum damage output. Along with eventually swapping Assault for Aesir Ear and Ulth for Flame/Strgoi. Any other warranted change/suggestions to maximize damage on mildly evasive mobs? Elvaan M 5/5 str 8/8 scythe merits if it makes any difference

Plaga/Sword/--/Bomblet
Ace's/Gorget/Assault/Brutal
Ebody/Perle/Ulth/Rajas

though, if the mobs are mildy evasive, drop from meat->pizza, and use the viking helm, you're still gaining acc and i think 0 loss of atk.

Varangian helm I only really use when Diabolic eye or Souleater is up to ws in on drk. If I took your advice and used pizza instead of meat of some sort it would be at the cost of 15-100 atk and 4-7 str depending on food with the gain of 40 acc. The acc would be nice if it was something really evasive, but at a certain point wouldn't the gain in attack and str I get in eating meat in tp and ws outweigh the total cap acc and the ability to use V.helm while using pizza?

After fiddling around with the search function for ahile to no avail I've decided to bring my question here.
What gear gear should I be using to optimize dancing edge damage for DNC? Should I prioritize str, dex, acc, or attack?

I probably wouldn't. That WS set likely has a decent amount of excess accuracy compared to their TP gear, especially with the 15 acc on the head. Thew Bomblet, Anguinus Belt, Strigoi Ring, and Aesir Earring come to mind as improvements to your current set.

damn it nightfyre, if he needs 5 acc over foragers switch to cuch doesn't it make more sense to swap out 5 acc on feet from rutters and keep foragers ?

I never said what order to switch them in should additional acc be needed :3 That reminds me though, DNC can wear Rager Ledelsens, which beat both options.

Warwolf -> Virtuoso would be a more efficient trade than either of the above, for what it's worth (until Anguinus).
