Off topic, but Magus, did you cut out your own Applelord or did someone already do it? I'm really wanting to have the grape on its own, but I can't photoshop to save my life- even cutting that out of the bigger picture would be hopeless for me without looking shoddy ; ;

You have to dig deeper. Redstone is common near lava, Diamond I can never find much of. But it's very near the bedrock on the bottom. Gold is a little higher then both.

Still messing around with it. Not too imaginative a mind and I've mild OCD so things come out very symmetrical.

New house that's 4~ hours old. (Well, once I started building. I tend to mine like a mother fucker/temp shelter before I do anything else)

I'm far as hell away from spawn, haven't seen any reeds or water aside at spawn, but god damn do I love the scenery.

Bro downloads the texture pack and modded the torches himself. Need to find a better one.

I did it myself, here's the grapeling, had to photoshop a small area that was behind the apple but I don't think it's too noticeable. :D

Oh god I hate this mine I'm in. I spawned on a wonderful map (like 6 mines full of stuff[but no diamonds yet Q_Q]) but this mine just keeps going on and on and now I'm lost and surronded by skeletons and zombies and oh god. brb digging straight up til I hit the sun.

That is always the worst. Anytime I find a mine that is super huge like that I build beacons every once in a while that point the way back towards where I entered. It helps a lot and prevents a lot of running in circles.

I use sand columns in big cave systems like that, to mark my path

Still no luck on finding a dungeon near me, although there's plenty of caves and huge coal deposits, but at this point I'm wondering if I should even bother continuing to search or if I shoudl just make a mine cart system a couple of miles to a new area

Anyone have a link for a viewer program to see where the cave systems are near you? I give up on trying to find one legit lol

Oh, there are a lot of mob spawners and not too far from where I was mining too

It looks liek there are HUGE underground lava lakes, could that be what's causing my game to chug in certain parts? I also have apparently been running the game while zipped in an archive too lol

I do that with torches but I managed to make a circle somehow.. I ended up digging straight up and tunneling into a mine I had already exhausted.
