Ragns you should set up something like this, these give players commands like warp/setwarp, playerlist, etc. which can be helpful. All you'd have to do is copy/paste the world file over and maybe setup some whitelists and user groups, it's pretty nice it's what I ran. The warping and such is especially helpful.

Operation: HOLE is going nicely.

Protip: Hold Shift to crouch. Let's you place a block 1 more square lower and more importantly allows you to peer off the edge of a block without falling. I was surprised people didn't know that.

are there any map editor programs? I have a feeling that my enormous underground lava lake (we're talkign huge, probably 2-3x the size of my entire settlement) is what's causing my game to stutter in certain spots but I think trying to get near it will be impossible. I'd really like to edit out the lava but idk if that's even possible

Quite a few times.

I was building the first half pre-walk patch which made building bridges in the sky a huge pain. After that it became moderately easy.

I have a mineshaft that's > 75 blocks deep. 2-deep well of water at the bottom and I still pancaked. Time for some experiments.

try a 3-deep pool then, all I know is my tower is more or less cloud level (50 blocks i think?) and a 2 deep pool worked for me, but only after I put enough water in it so it was full to the brim, since sometimes the water slopes downward out of a block and I'm not sure that counts

3 deep pool will definitely work. I tried 2 deep as well and I would die 50% of the time. I recently changed it to 3 deep and I havent had any issues.

3 pool is ok but I found that 9 pool to lair is much bet.. wait.. wrong craft game.
