What a sick costume, I'd totally wear that.
"TRICK OR SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"
Any tips on connecting to the bg server? I was able to connect to a random public server from this list just fine but trying to go to the BG world just gets me a connection error/timeout. Tips? This is all a bit overwhelming but I had to buy the game... if nothing else it is going to make the slow times at work much more bearable =)
Spoiler: show
seriously had like 14 zombies in there, and another 3-4 around me while trying to take the screen shot
Please tell me you dropped a TNT block in the top.
I've learned to carry a few around with me always, in case I break into the top of a dungeon.
actually they all despawned like 30 seconds alter when I tried to cram more inside, I dunno what happened :/
So when he updates the game, does it wipe everything you have saved?
I heard that saves will be intact, but nothing new will take effect in already generated terrain (no biomes or new materials where there already wasn't any). This could be bullshit though.
As much work as I've put into 3 different games, I'm probably going to start fresh each major update. Building a cabin in a rainforest or a shack on stilts in a swamp all sound appealing.
Also, I was riding a pig at the top of a huge mountain and I punched him in the back of the head, sending us both sailing off a massive cliff. He was crushed under my wight on the rocky ground below and I walked away unscathed... and I got a few pieces of pork to compensate the loss of my precious saddle. I hope that doesn't get patched out.
I've been trying to avoid this since I hear it's like crack but I don't know if I can stay away from trying to help build something like Project: Midgar.
Which, incidentally, should be chronicled for all future generations to gawp in awe at.
Game hard at all to get into?
Nope, just run around and punch shit. You could start on peaceful so you don't have to deal with mobs as you get used to it.

It's pretty much like playing first-person legos... but you have to find the pieces... and you can get killed.
Torrented it to give it a wee bash...I just made a wooden Pickaxe and Shovel and I'm just hitting things at random.
It's...amazing.
Looks like I'm going to have to dig out my wallet.
Does the retail alpha still lock out when moving it to a secondary monitor?
