Day 3:
first floor reception + waiting room + security guard area finished. 2nd floor finished. stairwell just needs the dirt replaced with proper bricks. roof planned out. so... pretty much worked on what you can't really see in the pic lol.

When I'm working on the struts/rafters/supports/whatever way up above the rest of the structure I get a feeling of vertigo, lol. Also, my neck is kinda sore from looking up so much. >_>

EDIT: See the clouds? Yeah they suck. I yell at them or move to a different floor when they invade what I am trying to work on. :s

WTB a way to see list of people in game so I can go find them and see what they are up to :D

Don't know why the BG server still isn't running hey0's server mod... player list, set spawn, warps, etc. are all useful features.

Any tips on connecting to the bg server? I was able to connect to a random public server from this list just fine but trying to go to the BG world just gets me a connection error/timeout. Tips? This is all a bit overwhelming but I had to buy the game... if nothing else it is going to make the slow times at work much more bearable =)

So when he updates the game, does it wipe everything you have saved?

I heard that saves will be intact, but nothing new will take effect in already generated terrain (no biomes or new materials where there already wasn't any). This could be bullshit though.

As much work as I've put into 3 different games, I'm probably going to start fresh each major update. Building a cabin in a rainforest or a shack on stilts in a swamp all sound appealing.

Also, I was riding a pig at the top of a huge mountain and I punched him in the back of the head, sending us both sailing off a massive cliff. He was crushed under my wight on the rocky ground below and I walked away unscathed... and I got a few pieces of pork to compensate the loss of my precious saddle. I hope that doesn't get patched out.

Nope, just run around and punch shit. You could start on peaceful so you don't have to deal with mobs as you get used to it.

Hmm. If I move the window to my secondary the menus work but I can't get into the World itself to mine myself into a hole.
