Man, that video + all the info on the halloween update has me torn between playing this like mad and finishing my skybridge to my obsidian mine (I found a HUGE lava pocket, and it's under the obsidian like 3 more levels, at least 3 64's stacks), or waiting to make a new save after the update =(.

Which ass went all bat shit with the TNT? There is a crater right next to Hole not to mention loss of part of the bridge and arrows at the spawn. I also noticed someone filled mine and Shiz's tower doors with Obsidian.

I keep digging out a small nook in mountainsides then trying to burrow my way to the bedrock but every time I get past a certain point I break into a dungeon and there's a stack of shit waiting by the walls...I've plugged all the holes but I can still hear them moving back there...

Like how the spiders chill out after dark too. Went out to build a Glass House at the top of my mountain and two of the bastards were waiting there, when I went to get my shit back one knocked me into a Cock which then 'sploded destroying half of what I was trying to pick up including all my glass.

Really should try getting materials then building a massive floating mansion or some shit.

Makes me wonder if Notch is considering weather effects in the future. I can imagine there being a tornado implemented, which rips apart weak structures......heh.

I really want some craftable illuminating block type.

Also, something I just noticed. If you start a new world and tab over to another application while it's generating the terrain, when it's done it'll be paused on the menu and you'll have a view of inside the ground at bedrock level and you can see all the natural caves/tunnels being generated underground. When you click "back to game" it'll bring you up to sea level. Also, I hate being spawned on beaches constantly.

I like spawning on beaches, brings you close to what could be lots of clay. Was able to mine up over 64 bricks worth of clay in a single game day cause it spawned me near some good beaches.

Now I'm working on making a moat in my fort using springs of water. I originally wanted to make a moat of lava, with water hitting it in certain spots evaporating it and making it sizzle, but lava is so retarded right now I scrapped that idea.

Since we couldn't start at the center block for the 4 tunnels we just went off the 2x2 that made up the center... Just wanted to state what was going on really I suppose :D

edit: also that floor we made is at sea level so... 64 blocks up? and 64 blocks down makes up the rest of the tower

moar edit: can't type/think for crap right now, spent like 7 or + something hours clearing all the stuff from inside the pillar under the first floor T_T

Minecraft.net doesn't store your custom skins? It uses it from wherever you linked it to to change it? I deleted my Bender skin from my desktop where it was saved and now I'm reverted back to the shitty default skin...

I think everyone is on the same boat as me, waiting for the 31'st update to start the building again.

First person to mine diamond and dupe shit for the rest of us gets a cookie.

Also are we still going with the neo-midgar on reset? If so I think we need some more plans since we are stalled at step 2 last I checked.

After seeing the protoss nexus, pylon, and tribal symbol made of gold and diamond blocks I'm going to have to agree with that. It makes the things people build so, less rewarding...

Although I support the duping of tools because finding diamond is a bitch...

All or nothing imo, duping really takes the fun out of it. Might as well call it Craft instead of Minecraft.

The one thing I hope they get rid of is durability on items, that gone and I would be happy.

Or just diamond items.

Either case just hope he patches it because its a real easy fix.

If case is destroyed, then close case window.

everyone who originally duped already said no duping after the wipe, it was one of those, hey its gonna get wiped, so why not, kinda dealies
