Anyone having an issues with the game since the update? After updating I just crash every time I log in.

The first time I logged in, it just said it couldn't connect to and asked if I wanted to play offline (this is using the exe not the browser based game). Waited a few minutes and I was able to update/log in. Just found some snow =)

Are you using any mods that may have broken due to the update?

I can't get my server running, it either freezes up or freezes Minecraft when I load the world up.

Also in order to work a hell portal you just need to stand inside of it for a few minutes.

I updated fine, loaded a game. didn't want snow, deleted it, loaded a new game and crashed, now it's crashing almost constantly every time I try to do anything.

Well the thing is I did have an HD textures mod, I deleted the .minecraft in the Roaming folder then re updated same result.

Almost every time I generate a world, I'm in a forest too dense for me to handle. The new music is very nice. I hope it's more frequent.

Now to hate my life because I have to head to work. So pissed.

edit: lol, now skeletons are holding bows.

Not crashing, but everything is super laggy to the point where I can't play.

EDIT: Just tried logging in again, and got another small patch. Seems to work fine now.

I'm late for work, but I just spawned in a sweet, mountainous desert... with a pumpkin patch nearby.

Haha, wearing one on your head makes your view mostly dark except for the blurry shape of the eyes/mouth on the pumpkin. It doesn't look like you can do much else with them besides build/wear unless lighting them with flint/steel makes them glow or something.

That gold block stuff found in nethers glows, the same amount as current torches (placing a torch on top of one doesnt change lighting). It breaks easily with hand and drops 1~ yellow redstone looking thing, 9 of those in a bench will make a placeable block. There are loads of mushrooms, got almost 10 red and a few brown in a couple of min.

You will find the zombies everywhere, they don't attack, just make weird noises and hop around with what looks like a gold sword. And I'm not sure what exactly it is, but something makes a god aweful noise. Everywhere you go there's screeching and it can get even worse when you approach walls etc

Havn't ran into any ghasts yet but I did see one in the distance, it was on fire lol. It looked huge though.

Mother fucker...I start a new world and I'm gathering a bunch of rich resources.

Then I walk into what I think is stable sand and SURPRISE IT'S ONLY ONE LAYER THICK AND DOESN'T SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT pit of falling damage + skeleton + zombie have a party on my crumpled body.

Minecraft servers are overloaded right now which means good luck downloading or authenticating yourself.

Ok, don't attack the zombies >.> I accidently punched one when mining that sticky block type, and now I can't get near my death spot because every zombie in that area rushes me as soon as I get near, even ones I didn't do anything to (dying in nethers respawns you back at normal point btw). You can't place water anywhere in hell either ;;

Lol, easy mode on Single Player seems a bit less... easy now. Walked outside to my fenced in Tree Farm and there were 5 spiders, 2-3 creepers and some skeles just hanging out back there. I had already lost my Diamond Sword while i was wandering WAAAAAAAAAAAY the eff out there looking at snow earlier too. =(

Some of the new features won't work online. Notch said that the portals don't work in SMP, but you can run the server in Nether mode if you really wanted to test it out.

try not to die....i think it's bugged, i just fell like 3 feet (right near my base), so i just respawned and....nothing. My equipment was all gone, everything i had on me, vanished.....fuck

you can make portals though, they just don't go anywhere
