It's such a pain in the ass to grow wheat with how often the shit gets trampled by bouncing cows and sheep.

I built my wheat farms underground (even though one of them still managed to get a cow in it until I placed a door). Now no animals can get them >.>

Goddamn it. Hit Diamond after digging for bloody ages, then I hit a lava flow which immediately floods the chamber I'm in.
Now I'm out my Diamonds and my Iron.

Can start on my Lava moat now though.

Has anyone else noticed a bug with leaves not withering when they should?

I usually hollow the trunk out, and punch out just a few center leaves and they will all eventually die. Now they keep floating there. So, I started igniting them to clear them out... I should have been more careful and now I have a massive forest fire on my hands. lol

Is there a use for the fish outside cooking them and eating for I think 3.5 hearts? Non-stackable foods make me fangry.

Yeah I went way overboard.
If the lava had the semi-transparency that the water does I would have used that.

It makes the place easy to find though.

question on the biomes! does the snow one not regenerate snow (alternatively: is it not actually snowing in the snow biome?) i also only play multiplayer if that makes a difference, i just can't seem to find any answer by googling it.

Yeah, I have yet to come across an arctic climate that's actually snowing, and I assume that's something required to actually regenerate snow and ice. And I've started a few dozen games since the update. Perhaps it's rare now?

Awesome.

I'm really happy with my new fort, as it hangs over a tide pool with completely natural tree canopy for a ceiling. All I did was board up and place a door at the ramp up to the ledge and hollowed out some space into the side of the mountain. Now I'm torn about my fort because I cannot find any decent natural caves nearby. I'm mining down and out everywhere inside that mountain and I can't find shit. It's making me want to restart for the 100th time.

Dont restart. Just venture out into the wild a bit and look for a cave system. If you find one, mark it somehow and then build a minecart track from there too your base. Set it up with boosters and you've got yourself a cool base with a sweet monorail system too your loot caves.

Also, you really dont need a natural cave system just to get materials. Just set up a branch mine below your base and you'll find everything you'll ever need.
