It's a complete and total shameless ripoff. Luckily, the community is massive and strong enough on Mojang's side to ensure Fortresscraft won't get much exposure. I'm sure it will do poorly.

It's the suck version of Minecraft by some other dudes.
Does anyone know why when I have 1.7.3 with the most recent YogBox installed my Esc key doesn't work?
I just installed fresh at work because I got a new PC and I can't seem to bring up the game menu unless I tab out or minimize first.
I'm on Windows 7 if that might make a difference.
Is your Esc key broken?
Not that I'm aware of. Let me check that out to be sure.
Odd, these were all working normally before I starting using the new PC.
From what I got from a keyboard test, the Esc key, and Print Screen keys aren't working at all.
Wow.. it's photoshop cs4. Weird that it would cause keys to stop working on my keyboard![]()
Also LameCraft for any PSP user (works on OFW also). Both are simple demos, nothing you can really do in them yet. ;/

First details on Minecraft’s XP system. Notch: “When you die you lose all levels. You lose all XP”
Yesterday, Notch posted an image of a massive mountain on his Twitter feed. But that’s not all. Look closely at said image. See the bar that looks a bit like an XP bar? It is an XP bar, but it also brings something extra – permadeath. In a forthcoming update to Minecraft, not only will you be able to gain levels. You’ll lose your levelling progress if you die.
“I’m a big roguelike fan,” explains Notch. “It’s really fun. The idea is that you level up really, really fast. You can grind away and level up fast if you want to, or you can just play as normal and level up that way. The longer you play, the bigger the risk of dying becomes. It’s the part that really works. If it feels like it’s too harsh, we might make it half or something like that. But that fact that you lose everything – you lose all your inventory anyways.”
The Minecraft developer is still figuring out how players will level. “I’m not entirely sure on how the levelling is going to work, because that part isn’t as fun. We’re trying to figure out something that is fun, and kinda lightweight. We’re thinking of getting an automated XP system. It’s not implemented in any way that makes any kind of sense at the moment.”
Adding progression and permadeath could be a risky move for Minecraft’s vast playerbase. I asked Notch whether he’s concerned about ruining the purity of the game he’s created.
“It’s the biggest risk,” he acknowledges. “We have to make sure that it’s fun, and as streamlined as possible. I kind of figured out that a really good test of what works or not is when I go back to 1.7.3 – the previous version. If it feels like it’s lacking that feature, if it feels like it should be in there.
“But it’s what I like about roguealikes, like Nethack – everything is dangerous.
Gonna need a new map once the adventure update comes out.
+ PvP Server = ???
Pure awesome right there... wow.
Ice spreads. Did we know ice spreads? Because that is effin awesome.
My friends server that I play on frequently, when the biomies update hit that added snow and rain, an area that previewusly had no snow anywhere around it, had a huge area get taken over by ice / snow where we had built shit, we then abandoned the area cause it ruined the purpose of a few structures we had there![]()
I feel like my island is going to have a torch. Everywhere.
a recent project of mine just finished a few days ago, It is a Piston display of 1,024 Pixels of 2x2 blocks, thats 4,096 pistons. All of them are linked up to form 64 displays of 4x4 pixels.
As far as i have found, this is the First Interactive piston Display Chessboard in Minecraft.
Each Display (or square) is composed of two 2x4 pixels for Black(Red in the Video) and White. I couldn't think of a proper display that could register Red pieces or white pieces and I didn't want the top player to have upside-down pieces so I devised the split squares for red and white.
My original design was 6x6 pixels or rather 12x12 pistons but after starting the wiring I realized it would be larger than the chunks that could load around the player. So we made it smaller and still had a few problems loading everything, Thats when we scraped what we had done and created the wiring to both sides of the control panel and behind the control station. As it stand you have about 1 chunk room on the left and 2 on the right not sure about behind the screen though.
All the wiring is done to a switch for Red or White, 4 Switches for your quadrant selection, and 16 switches for space selection, as well as 7 buttons for piece selection. (six pieces and one reset) Also have a Master Reset for the Entire board, as well as a set board control.
The only win Detection is the same as playing on a real board, same for cheat detection.
Check it out, Give an up-vote, Leave a comment. Let me know how I did and what I could have done better please ^^;
