Safari Mac version problem

Ok mini problem that my mom has with her Mac

Since like 1 week each time she goes on facebook Safari refuse to remember her, and she has to write her full email adress each time and it annoys her.

What we did, clear the formulas, clear the cookies, make sure the "Fill the form" is activated.


The other website works, the problem is only on facebook.com


(when we deleted the cookies we deleted every cookies)

did you try to google the issue and see if others have it? I dont think many on this forum use macs to really be able to answer this, and you might be better off on a mac forum or contacting facebook.

Do you have any additional services running (such as Adblock) that could be interfering?

Yeah I found the answer all I had to do was go to Safari preference in auto fill, check in name + password and delete the facebook line

Bumping because that's not what my mom wanted finally

What we did is hit the KEep username/password in autofil, when she goes on facebook it ask her to save her usename and password which she clicked yes

But now when she goes on facebook her username/password is automaticly written and she doesn't want that

All she wants to do is that when she goes on facebook the fields are empty and when she enter exemple a it shows [email protected]


And i'm tired of "It worked this way before I want it that way again"

i know my mac always shows just my email addy on FB but as soon as I click in the box for the password it auto-fills in
