Home premium a solid fix but I have to go on a slight necro, I prefer the ATI crossfire build over the Nvidia just due to price point and overall performance. I'd also say the latency isn't too huge of a factor and HDMI is on a 1.4 standard but you rarely notice that on desktops unless its actually being rigged to a big flat screen (and yes I am dead serious on this). Any future HDMI revisions (like 2.0) would more likely address audio issues than video and 3-D TV works on 1.4 anyways. Not sure if you got the ram but I'd toss be careful of what ram pending on the heatsink you use. I have prolimatech mega's and they really do kill the height of the ram chips I use when facing it upward. On a second note try to also use ball-bearing fans when facing up/down as sleeve-bearing fans loose half their lifespan when used in this manner (okay I exaggerate, they loose maybe 1/3 to 1/2 but its a big hit either way). Since I do make rigs for high end gaming, as a word of advice, you can get full size towers for about $100 on many of the manufacturers websites for display/used models. I was able to pick up a Haf-932 full sized tower for $100 w/ free shipping. Like someone else said, its just easier to get your hands in there.
Had a little trouble with newegg and had to cancel then wait for the charge to get reversed to reorder. Took that time to reconsider the PSU. Will this be enough? None of the other components have changed since my last build post, and I went with the I7-930.
With just one GTX 470 that PSU is plenty. I always suggest going above and beyond in the PSU market though in the event one ever wants to upgrade to SLI or what have you in the future.
