Numbers not showing in /tells

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, but I've been limited where I can post to anyway.

In FFXI, I'm not getting tells that only consist of numbers, so for example, if someone sends me a tell saying "2," I don't get it. I do get it if there's text in with the number - i.e "incoming 2."

I've tried to change chat filters, but that doesn't seem to work. Anyone know what this is and how I can fix it or anyone have any suggestions?
