Any advice on the deploy timing?
Is it better to leave it in deploy during casting? Or is it better to retreave while casting?
ALWAYS ALWAYS Deploy and Retrieve, also, in terms of timing, what I do is Deploy when Keesha is closest to you. The casting time for Stone V is long enough so that Keesha will run back (you continue your regular back and forth movement of pinning Keesha) and by the time she turns around to come back the nuke will go off. Immediately Deactivate/Activate again. If your puppet happens to spawn on the other side of the wall, it's ok. What I do to get my puppet back to my side....during kiting when I run forward I run out wide a little bit and stay there for an extended amount of time. Not too long as to let Keesha Poppo smack me, but she should be going around the tree next to the conflux. Soon as you see that run right back and round the wall slightly, then double back. She'll turn back around and resume her original pinned location and your automaton will be next to you.

Hopefully the video I'll be making soon will show this so you'll be able to see it yourself.

Here is a video of someone showing how to do the pinning method. Bear in mind, though, that this wall that's being used IS NOT the one I use and that the wall in question is near the birds and Piasa (Bird NM) can wander into the area and will aggro you.

But for now, enjoy. Courtesy of Idebian of the Allakhazam forums (dont' know what server he's on)

Having full merits and faith torque. I have been honestly underwhelmed by Tornado Kick. SP just rocks so much :D

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't Footwork really boost Tornado Kick damage?

Its really less Footwork, and more the DMG+35 Poise Shoes (or +30 Dune boots).

Footwork lets you calculate your DMG from your boots during Tornado Kick. So say, a PUP might WS in DMG+22 claws while a MNK is doing DMG+53 boots (+18 for Footwork, +35 for Poise Shoes).

But that's all semantics. Footwork is the only thing letting Tornado Kick be good. It sucks for PUP since PUP can't use Footwork (PUP can wear Dune Boots, so they'd probably put up good damage if they could).

I think (and I'm probably wrong) base damage is also used in the weapon skill calculation when using Footwork, so it's really base damage+35 from Poise Shoes.

Either way, Tornado Kick (and Dragon Kick) are useless without Footwork active, and seeing as kick boots proc on normal kicks without Footwork being on, it makes no sense to me that you have to turn it on for it to be used in weapon skills.

Yup, its an extra +18DMG to your base damage.

So its Base Damage + 18 + Your Boots dmg (+30/+35 if you got the good stuff).

I always forget about the native +18 damage Footwork gives on its own, lulz.

Tornado Kick can't make level 3 skill chains and shouldn't come anywhere near Strining Pummel's damage without Footwork, so I wouldn't try too hard to get it with extra equipment.

Ok, we've recorded an entire fight just for you guys. It's being split into 4 videos, all with commentary via Ventrilo from yours truly.

Watch all the videos! Video #1 is mainly claim/kite but there's some awesome random fail near the end of the video, and also in Part 3 (maybe Part 4) KEESHA POPPO HITS ME so it wasn't one of my "perfect" fights, but I explain how/why I got hit to show you guys what not to do.

All videos should be done by tomorrow, Parts 1 and 2 are complete but are in private mode until all 4 are completed.

Here it is. The entire fight from Entry, walk to NM, claim, kite, fight. Hope this helps you guys get an idea on how to do this.

The video is in 4 parts, each subsequent video is a response to the other, so you can watch them in order starting from video #1

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXpaiiIkwvc

    Important points about each video.

Video #1 - Shows my gear, location of the NM, kiting route, and some awesome random fail near the end of video 1.

Video #2 - Shows the fight location near Conflux #2 and the start of the pinning, puppet nuking method.

Video #3 - More pinning and nuking, I think the main highlight of this video is that I overloaded once. >.>

Video #4 - More pinning and nuking, but I goof up and I get hit! Shows end of fight (no drop) but I put on my Cirque Necklace to show the big prize that can be had from doing this very easy fight.

Another note to add, if you keep doing this, even without the drop you can still make some very good gil selling Keesha's Pamamas. They go for 100k a pop on Ramuh, and I've made about 1.5M off them.

Okay just done again nukes were doing 1.4k each time got 1 resist entire fight which was good using, Tranq Ice maker and Loudspeaker II. What sucked was I d/c at 24% and it regened to 100%, we regot and done 0/11 now. It didnt have the damage resistance that it did before so I really dunno what happened that last time with all them resists.

Maybe was a glitch who knows xD

If you have rdm and decent nuking gear. You can burn it down in under 30 minutes from enter to exit. This is of course including using Abyssea temp items for MP along with a Martello. This is without Atmas also. I would always make sure you have decent amount of time though (hour+) as it could always take longer if you get unlucky with spamming Magic Fruit.

I'm having the same problems with getting my auto killed while nuking, so I watched your video and decided to give it a go. My main problem is that being so close to the conflux lagged me out loads and got me killed. I can however kite fine at the other wall but it seems a longer distance than the one you use? (maybe it's my imagination!) Either way I'll try again with deploying and retrieving right away and hopefully that will help! Thanks for the video gave me a good idea of what I have do :D

By seeing the large box it seems they were farming key items off bees. I imagine they CFH the boss to keep their exp chain.

Good vid. Now transfer to Siren and sell me all your pamamas. 5 pamamas in 5 kills for me on cor......and 3 necks ;/ Only one found a home before it autodropped. The last one I was shouting on my mule in whitegate offering to sell it for the price of 65 quickdraw cards and nobody even responded.

I went 1/10 on the Cirque Necklace and I've been hearing similar stories from others anywhere between 1/9 and 1/20 so you're looking at a 5-10% drop rate.

Even though I have my drop I still solo Keesha Poppo as I have two regular buyers on Ramuh for Keesha's Pamamas.

Oh, and as for the length of the fights, it takes me about 33-38 minutes from entry, claim, kite, fight. The fight itself is about 16-20 mins. assuming no resists (my quickest fight was 31 minutes (total) and longest was 59 minutes (had to kite out activate timer)
