Please forgive me i know this kinda a silly question but,
Just upgraded my Proccesser, and noticed with Glary Utilities my Comp is running on 1022MBs, i'm assuming it should be @ 2044MBs, with to 2GB sticks!
Just woundering if its not picking up one of the1GBs, is it either the Motherboard or the GB card itself is faulty, the motherboard is still under warranity, or is it acturraly ment to be like this >.>

Edit: Didnt want to Necro Bump a thread from like 3yrs ago!
    Edit2: discard faulty GB chip.

Seems odd to me that when you upgraded your CPU that one of your dimms went. Is there anything else you did during the upgrade process?

If nothing else you could have bent a pin, got some thermal paste on a pin, or the CPU is bad. Technically speaking when something is working before you upgrade something and it isnt after its usually the upgrades fault.

A little more info would be nice like what you've done to troubleshoot the problem.
