Those graphs are ridiculously euro-centric given the fact that they assume the world not under control of Christianity during the dark ages(like all of the planet except fucking Europe) was incapable of any scientific advancement because white people weren't around to think stuff up. And frankly it would be extremely patronizing and insulting if I wasn't so sure the makers of that graph (and you) simply didn't consider the preceding sentence.
Ps hitler was catholic in that he was dragged kicking screaming and yes even clawing to his own baptism as a kid. There were Hitler youth songs where the tldr was "fuck God, let's praise Hitler instead." So no. Hitler doesn't count under being catholic.
