16:10 (1920*1200) was the standard for PC widescreen until manufacturers realized they could make more profit by just slapping TV panels into their monitors and advertising "Full HD" 1920*1080 as standard. You lose 120 vertical lines and gain absolutely nothing whatsoever. Mostly the term "Full HD" just pisses me off because it's a meaningless consumer-electronics buzzword printed on golden stickers and targetted at the same fucktards who buy Monster Cables and 3D goggles, and it's getting harder and harder to find real PC monitors for a reasonable nowadays since everyone has switched to only manufacturing TV screens.
