I have searched high and low and all reviews and opinions on this board are mixed. The heat problem of the north bridge is a big concern of mine and just wanted to ask if any of you have any experience with this mobo.
Also, while here, I plan on using a noctua 14 when OC and I realize it's quite ginormous. Should I worry about it fitting in an antec 1200? Pretty sure I'll have to remove one of the dominator heat sinks, but is the case large enough to house the cooler?
Think it could force me to not have use of the optional gpu fan slot?

Are you going to run 4 video cards? It seems the only benefit of the crosshair over the various mid-range gigabyte/asus models is having 4 full-bandwidth 16x slots. Well, and the pretty heatsinks.

No, will likely use two at best. I like the boards look compared to other 890 sets. The rog tagging and easy to use mini OC buttons mainly. Other than the north bridge heating issue most love the mobo, and yes the heatsinks are quite pretty.
If I was going with an intel I'd use a rampage for sure so that's what led me to the crosshair to begin with.
Glad to hear case is fine. I really like both the case and cooler.
