Once again.

[Silverburst00]

hahaha too funny

[Outlaw]

Woke up a little while ago and maintenance was suppose to be just ending. Now two more hours. grr

Though.. this must mean Scars of Aybessa will become available in the first few days next month sense they are doing this today?

[S N K]

Wow what the shit...

[Darkmagi]

Servers up and online.
edit: Or maybe not, hit play and it booted me off mid log in.

[Darkmagi]

Up for real now

[Ivve]

So people are in game and/or updating right now? Still getting POL 1160 or whatever the equivalent of the busy signal is, but I assume it's just the usual congestion. Y/N?

[Darkmagi]

In game now, updated already via file check glitch on POL.

[InspectorGadget]

my update download stalled at 298/800 and now I'm getting perma POL-1160 timeouts, will anyone be hosting the update files offsite this time around?

[Dankdragon]

Way to go with the constant disconnects from updating, SE! How about buying some real fucking servers!?

[Piricho]

Is it just me having problems downloading 96.dat?

[Dazusu]

Doubt it, Piricho. Count yourself lucky that your update actually began I chose a bad day to format my PC and need a complete update ._.

[Crizto]

I can't even DL the patch.txt lol

[Penitente]

12504 people are currently trying to DL a 4.5gb ffxiv client from SE's servers, I'd wager that's what's stalling it.

[Alkar]

Yeah.. I had the update done hours ago and still had trouble getting past the "Checking version" screen.

[Piricho]

I know SE are retarded in some ways, like limiting your EXP. But putting FFXI and FFXIV on the same servers, would be, speechless.

Yes, putting the only 100mb one-time file that XIV needs to the same server makes me speechless, too.

So glad that you finally started posting!

Wait a second... I don't think a P2P download has anything to do with this, lol

[Classikmage]

Anyone else having trouble DL'ing 40.DAT? My update keeps stalling on that file. =/
