Looking for a salvage group on Leviathan

I am looking for a salvage group to run with 4-6 times a week, maybe less depending on how well things get done. I'm Sergeant rank, almost Sergeant Major. I've done all the zones multiple times, but still learning some of the routes. I understand how to fight most of the NM's and such, although there are a few minor things for me to learn.

I follow cell orders properly and pass when I'm supposed to, and do well with proper communication. I like to use Ventrilo, and will use it if asked.

I have SAM level 80 with capped merits, pretty well geared (except cuchulain's mantle I sold) and proficient in polearm and great katana. I use a 20% haste, 7% double attack 6-hit build with GK (or lower haste 5-hit once I complete the set with usu feet etc.) and a 5-hit polearm build with 17% haste and 9% double attack.

I have COR level 80, not merited yet but fairly geared, have sets for everything I need.

I have WHM level 80, with moderate merits including cure casting time + bar spells, also Shellra 5 and Devotion. It is fairly well geared, with HQ staves for all the spells I use. I have proper enfeebling, curing, idle, divine, resting, stoneskin, and bar spell sets.

Also I have PLD 78, not that it matters.

My availability follows this (generally):

Sunday+Monday: All day
Tuesday: 7pm CST - 2am CST
Wednesday: 7pm CST - 5am CST
Thursday: 11am CST - 4pm CST and 9:30pm CST - 5am CST
Friday: 11am CST - 4pm CST and 11pm CST - 5am CST
Saturday: 11am CST - 4pm CST and 11pm CST - 8~am CST

As you can tell I'm willing to stay up very late as long as I don't have to work the morning the next day. Because of my odd work schedule, I really prefer to run late at night.

Anyways, I have played salvage and been successful numerous times, and hope to continue this so I can finish my first and next pieces.

Here's my want list and current obtained pieces.

Usukane Sune-Ate: None
Usukane Hizayoroi: 15
Marduk's Crackows: 15 25
Marduk's Dastanas: None
Marduk's Tiara: None
Skadi's Bazubands: None

I obviously wouldn't mind having the body pieces, aside from never being able to afford to buy the wootz ingots associated with each.

get rvb before you try to join a good salvage set, or at the very least make it clear you handle AP on your own

I will handle my own AP and don't expect group assault runs. Until I get RvB unlocked I generally do Lamia No.13 or Building Bridges for AP, and running about 6x a week would give me an extra day to make up for the occasional shortage.

i don't have any job that can wear marduk nor have i ever even looked at a single piece of marduk besides the pants/body. as well, usukane head is 4m where hands are like 300k. i don't see the big deal.

The only use before was a regen idle piece or full set...Serpentes now kinda made them obsolete. Ya they aren't expensive, but unless SE changes their mind from the impression given by the first update notes, there is absolutely no reason to own Marduk hands short of full set, and that's a bit expensive (esp when he even commented on not making a body).

just saying, priorities. 300k isn't entirely a big deal, can make that in 1 dynamis on an ehhh decent run night. blowing 4m on something can be practically used no where is a little silly, as well is uncursing hands, but there is a different between 4,000,000 and 300,000.

edit: 4m is half a body. if you've saved up that much already there is NO reason you shouldn't just save for a body.

I put it up in anger in the first place, it's so aggravating knowing it's so easy to get a SSR run going but it's never going to happen for me...

Just do shout groups... screw joining a group. I got all my salvage pieces, for the most part, through shouting. Screen the people you are inviting and make sure they aren't idiots. Keep lots at ?/2 or 1/1 if only doing something specific and you will get it in time (nobody even lots those for most part). Research the zones if you don't know how to do them, its fairly simple however.

Shout groups can be iffy but its a quick way to hit the pieces you want with minimal wait time.

setup I normally go with for farms is WAR/SAM SAM/NIN MNK/NIN BRD/WHM WHM/SCH RDM/WHM THF/NIN(TH Mule usually)

* for Zhayolm I have BRD come /SMN to help suck up Discoid damage, usually it helps enough for when WHM/SCH AoE Stoneskin it doesn't break, makes it a cake walk to keep everyone up.

gl with your runs and finding people, doesn't have to be the exact jobs listed, but MNK and WAR are broken as fuck in salvage lol.
