I just ripped the .dds files from other .dats i've seen over the years. My ui is made by me, with 100% stolen files.

I don't remember what the program to make the .dds files is, gimme a bit, i'm sure i've got it somewhere.

ctrl+f to set a font, ctrl+s to save a .bmp. Don't ask me what anything else does. Also, if it can make the other 3ish images used for text, i have no idea how to do so.

Gotta say, I thought I was the only one who saw this. Whether or not it was bad timing of the chatlog, it looks like he wouldn't have received a warning on his account had he just kept his mouth shut and just did what the GM said - not that it matters I guess.

Didn't realize trying to save gil was being gimp, but ok. I could point to all sorts of aspects of your rdm gear and using this logic, prove you "don't care about the job, can't make real use of the job, and don't deserve to lot anything for the job, oh, and more than likely suck". But I won't go there. As long as most pug people out there believe in the "well, if you can use it you deserve it more", I'd -recommend- any good red mage (that isnt rich) to wait and try to get refresh2 from abyssea because it doesn't actually matter for the vast majority of the current game.

Not having gear doesn't mean you don't have skill, as some gear is a) harder to acquire than others, b) isn't in an abyssea pt alliance treasure pool c) is equatable to other gears. Not having ballad 3 and going into an abyssea pt being like 'yo sup, i should get this ballad 3' is clearly different.

you and the retired person are the reason gimps thrive. it's like every abyssea zone and every abyssea pt is a korroloka tunnel/party and you're all just level syncs. If you feel happy knowing you suck at the game, then continue, if not, go to 14 or do something about it.

You are stupid and need to learn to read. I realize what I said was absurd - about as absurd as saying you wouldn't want a red mage without refresh2 in your exp party because they are obviously gimp and in no way can even come close to doing their job in said exp party without the extra 3/tick. Which, was the entire point - that if I could choose right now between a red mage with more endgame gear and no refresh2, or red mage with refresh2 and missing pieces of gear, I would take the better geared one every time, because 3/tick does not matter in an exp alliance in abyssea. Period.

Because i don't have morrigan's, a capped mdt set (fuck only -45% mdt, whatever will i do?), or some other endgame gear? Or do you mean my lack of staves, which unless i did wind/water (not happening), wouldn't help me at all currently? Surely you understand the difference between being gimp, and not having all the best possible gear within a year of starting over with almost nothing, while playing semi-casually, yes? Yes, my rdm does still needs quite a bit of work, but it's far from gimp.

I agree, I wasn't being serious, I was just pointing out what I said above. I think you're delusional for thinking people need to go out and buy their spells or they are super gimp and you can't party with em. I actually bought refresh2 and I think it was one of the biggest wastes of gil yet (not that I'm poor or care about 150k), but I don't think it's gimp to skip a pretty unimportant spell for 2 days to save some gil. And yes, I can see the difference between being gimp and missing all the extraneous shit that isn't needed - refresh2, ballad3, break, waterja, stoneja, carol 2s, schzero, aero5, addle, enlight, endark, well, I give up, but every single one of those is extraneous for your exp party (mp honestly doesn't matter), and calling someone gimp for missing any of that is pretty silly.
