Same reason i never would have turned on SEs spam filter, even if i didn't have chatmon. It's not worth the risk of something getting mistakenly blocked by it.

I discovered a new derogatory word because of Chat filters

It blocked out a word i hadn't seen (it wasn't even the word, i typed like 2 words and it just so happened the last 2 letters of the first word and the first ~3 of the second spelled this term), so i google'd it.

I love chat filters. In another game it was so horrible that even the default macros for asking people to send you a whisper were blocked. It went like "I'm looking for friends, please whisper me." After some retarded word filtering addition, the message stayed except new people would say "I'm looking for friends, please whi**** *e. (sperm) So many of those things are counter effective. Some sentences I wouldn't have even noticed the bad word if they didn't filter it out.

I know the word combination had something to do with Igqira Weskit :\

Pretty sure it was "Get a Igqira Weskit" and "T a Ig" was blocked, so "taig" i think
