I sent both you and the gimp paladin tells. I sent it to you first, so don't give me that bullshit.

You lost control to begin with. You had 12 people. You belong in this thread.
I missed it then? I was busy fighting. What does that have to do with anything anyway?
A few mistakes were made? Nobody is perfect. We had it at 30% with our setup before shit went downhill a bit.
I've made mistakes trio and had less deaths and less dragging out than that, without letting it go yellow.
Trio with jobs you had in your alliance, no less.
Good for you? Circumstances are always different.
Tons of mad up in here
ITT: Thorny is the best player to ever grace XI with his presence (and $50~ a month to SE)
Whats odd is I help people alot of times where I get nothing from it because I enjoy playing and I enjoy spending time with friends.
Is that like, a really odd idea for some people?
No, ITT: Who needs strategies, we got Carbuncle!
Not really, and Thorny wasn't saying that. He was saying he didn't want to ask people to help farm Chloris pops because they get nothing in return. People very likely come help him regardless though.
There's a difference between helping and essentially spamming one thing over and over at the cost of Abyssea time which is a valuable resource (as well as real life time). Personally I'm in the same boat as Thorny to an extent, and dislike asking people for help unless it's absolutely necessary; one of the reasons I leveled RDM in the first place. I appreciate the help of my friends, but I would never take it for granted or expect it from them.
Nope, but playing this game and this game alone does that to you. I went to Aion with the dick head mentality like Thorny still has (he reminds me of myself when I was 15), and it's just such an eye opener. Concepts like "Need before greed" on item distribution, shits insane. Everyone is just so bitter with a superiority complex on this game, it's sad really.
Fwiw, if your 'friends' need something in return for them helping you, they're not really you're friends.
Some people gauge fun differently I suppose. That is how I see fun myself, playing with friends and enjoying what I am doing in some way. Thornny's is bugging people over an online video game and acting like he is superior in intellect due to the fact that he and his vulture cronies can quadtruple box any NM and not afraid of anything. Most of the people I play with aren't hardcore, the mistake we had during the fight is a mistake. They all got frustrated but doesn't really matter in the end, they will get over it.
There's a difference between helping someone and asking/expecting the mass amount of help involved in some things(like chloris buds). I completely understand not everyone cares enough to build the resources I have, but I can't possibly see how it's a bad thing to not expect that much help when I can do things myself. I keep my requests reasonable because I know I wouldn't want to sit through 50 buds for someone else.. why ask people to for me? This way, instead of using my friends, I get to help them out by providing leech spots.. probably generated 20mil exp while farming for afk linkshell mates.
