Sadly I've been seeing similar for Gukumatz, too. SE really should change around the chest KIs so it's either timed NMs that drop from them or just all of them like Visions zones.

You guys really like the design of "NMs are here, but they aren't even worth the effort of killing"?

I could see swapping it so only timed NM KIs drop from chests to remove the timer cockblock (it would also change it from 4 to 3 KIs per zone from biggold), but I think putting every KI in chests is beyond dumb...I like the idea of people actually fighting the NMs as opposed to endlessly exping for popsets, personally.

Surprise surprise! You could do both. Putting the key item in the chest doesn't prevent you from fighting the NM.

Really can't understand why 30-60 min NM key items aren't from chests. Went to do pop some Nonno this early afternoon, decided to check on Heqet while there; over 18 people were camping it. It's so stupid. I don't like that farming higher-tier NM pops in older zones is basically fell cleaving with only a handful of NMs being popped if you need 1-2 key items and you're pretty much capped on others or something retarded, but nor do I like how much of a cockblock Heqet/Amun/Div-E/et al. are.

I won't complain if they switch which key items are in the boxes, as long as the timed NMs are in the box. I think it's nice that NMs are up in the old zones, despite the key items they offer for higher tier NMs, since some of them have nice things other than just NM key item pops (gear/atma/abyssites).

I like farming the gold boxes since my LS alternates who is leeching on lowbie jobs and who is doing the killing, but I could live without it.

Just put all of them in the damn gold boxes. Pop NMs are the best ones for farming seals. Timed NMs are heavily camped. If you're a good group, you're probably better off killing the NM for the key item anyways. If you can't or don't want to put up with traffic, just kill a pack of mobs. Simple solution is simple.

I can kinda understand why he wouldn't invite you. A lot of shady shit goes on all the time in Abyssea, so many vultures. He didn't know you and probably didn't want to risk you taking anything. Also you pressing it after he wasn't set on inviting you, just made it seem shady as well.
