But failure, what if you have 1-2 people left over that can't make their own cleave burn? Or what if you have people left over that don't have war, smn, or rdm?

In La Theine, we use a pair of BLMs againg groups down instead of cleaving because everything there gives ruby lights and we don't want to get flooded with red chests. It isn't nearly as fast as cleaving, but it is effective, and you aren't at the mercy of restore chests.

Can DRK actually utilise FC well without retaliation and mighty strikes, though? (How does souleater work on it?)

We don't use MS really...also, worst case use 2 DRKs+Smn+Puller...that's 4 FCs right off the bat via Sekkanoki, which will prob kill everything. Also, you get a ton of TP from getting hit, even without retaliation. The only time retaliation is really needed is if you use a Fanatics Powder instead of PD.

Souleater takes off normal amount of HP for a single hit, but adds damage to every target I believe (the single hit part is correct, it's hard to tell if it actually gets +dmg vs every target though).

No, I'm not telling you what you should enjoy at all. I'm saying when a developer makes a game, they should do so with the intent for people to partake in the content they develop. If someone does not find the type of game fun, they should quit and find a different game. If SE develops a game you dislike, then don't play it, but the intent of any game development should be for people to play it, not for it to exist and sit to the side and be ignored. Thanks for bringing up a perfect example in Chocobo Racing though...it's quite obviously poorly designed content, which is why nobody fucking does it.

Of course, my question though is whether we should really make all content relevant. I'm perfectly fine calling content good if a majority of players ignore is so long as a narrow minority that does participate intensely enjoys the content.

Odd, or your pulls are really small? You pull slightly faster than once per 3 minutes, and you should be getting 1-3 KIs per pull.

SE usually decides I can hold 5 Megalixirs at once.

Are you sure about this? The WS was listed as WAR only on wiki, and now the specific page no longer says that but the Great Axes page still says that. Have you guys actually used DRKs to cleave?

I checked moments ago and can confirm that DRK gets Fell Cleave with 300 GA skill.

What you do is you claim it, kite it around until he leaves, then deaggro it, and kill it.
