Is breaking bad that good?
It's definitely not something everyone can get into or enjoy, but it isn't supposed to be. But for what it is, it is of amazing quality.
Well if Kyra Sedgewick(or however you spell her fucking name) can win for The Closer then anyone can win for anything.
lol
There is no such thing as a bad episode of Breaking Bad. There's just fast paced episodes and the 'slow' episodes that are pure awesome. Forgetting the other ppl in Best Actor Drama, its kind of saddens me that Jon Hamm will probably never win as long as Breaking Bad is around simply because of how much more explosive Walter White is as a character over Don Draper since otherwise I think both portray their characters equally well.
Mjd, not sure if I'm getting wooooshed but my avatar is Omar Little, the most badass/gayest gangster in West Baltimore, not Obama?
Breaking Bad does have something of an enforced time limit though, there's only so high they can raise the stakes before the inevitable happens to Walter. He won't rule forever.
Obama is the baddest man ever.
I
Downloading Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Modern Family right now...
Next year Breaking Bad will be ineligible to compete for an Emmy since the new season doesn't start until July (which is heartbreaking). Expect John Hamm to sneak in a win (especially with how amazing he's been this season).
I can't stand Modern Family and don't see the appeal. Why wasn't It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia nominated for best comedy? Because middle America is afraid of green man?
It is indeed a shame

+1 for the funny due to Ed O'Neil/Modern Family bit. I half expect him to stuff his hand down his pants at any random moment.
The style of always sunny means it will never get votes as I'm sure that crude comedy is lethal to the the older generation who probably votes on the shows.
Better off Ted should have at least got a nomination but for the most part I think your show needs to be somewhat popular to get nominated (having a shows audience tune in to see if they win brings ratings which I can only assume is the reason some of those shows keep getting nominated and how glee got 50 million nominations)
Out of all the characters on Modern Family Ed barely stands out. Several of the other characters are much better than him.
It's a crime against humanity that the Glenn Beck program didn't even get nominated for best comedy. =/ He should hold a rally in protest.
Does FX even campaign for Sunny to get nominated? A fuckup in ABC's campaign strategy is why O'Neill wasn't even nominated for Modern Family, and while I think Modern Family winning Best Comedy is okay (would've preferred Curb cause last season was hilarious) but its writing/best supporting actor trophies are a bit undeserved imo. It's writing is not in any as original as any other show it was in competition with, its just the same family laugh track sitcom rehashed for the era of single camera/no laugh track. Likewise while I think Cam is hilarious, he is just a campy gay stereotype that was a lot funnier 10-20 years ago...
edit: And yeah the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard about the delay w/ BrBa's next season was that this means that Jon Hamm will finally win an emmy. I wouldn't be surprised if this is something AMC did on purpose for that reason. Also, AMC is like 1 show away from completely ruling the best actor category once Walking Dead launches.
