Events like this make me ever more glad to be an ex-pat right now... I just got back from a month vacation to the US to visit family (first trip in almost 3 years) and it pained me to see my father watching Faux News almost every evening... He'd never attend one of these crazy rallies, but he seems to believe almost everything they air on that awful channel and might even vote if somehow Glenn Beck did run for office... He and my mother are both laid off from their jobs now, and were more than happy to sign on for the extra weeks of unemployment Obama got them, and sign up for early Social Security and Medicare, but somehow "Obummer" is ruining the country and wasting people's taxmoney...

At this rate, I may never be able to move back to the US... It's going to hell in a handbasket and Faux News + Glenn Beck are leading the charge.
