So with this game being out on every torrent site available... I last played the GS games like.. 10 years ago or whatever it was and don't remember anything from them. Is this game unrelated? Or will I have to go re-read a plot summary on wikipedia
There is a mini encyclopedia in the game to help you catch up on things. The intro basically tells you the past events of the first and second game if you forgot or never played them.
If you want a full detailed wiki then here

Man I am thinking I should replay the first two to be safe though technically I never beat the second one...
It leaked way before yesterday morning, lol
The date I've been seeing online for the past fricking month now has me very, very angry. Went to my local Gamestop, Walmart, and other stores, all saying tomorrow or Wednesday dangit! Why the heck would Camelot/Nintendo say Nov. 29th for the past moth and a half if it wasn't actually going to be out till the 30th or the 1st. Sooooooo, angry right now.
so in the end I actually would have gotten the game quicker if I hadn't decided to pay for it?
doesn't sound like it's heavy on copy protection either.
wonder if I can get my money back from Gamestop... lol.
I'll still purchase the game, as I like to have a collection on my bookshelf. I'm sad, cause I've been so busy lately with real life, I didn't get to put enough hours in on 4 warriors of light before this came out.
fuuuuuuuck sounds like it doesn't work on Cyclo cards yet. well that answers that dilemma. come to think of it, AP is the whole reason I decided to buy this one anyway, so there's no surprise here.
>Plug in DSi
>Play abit of Golden sun before bed on my Acekart 2i
>Wake up grab Dsi and leave
> mfw when I didnt charge and battery is completely tapped

Even though you can DL the game online, I'd say buy it anyways just to support it. Because if it sells well maybe they won't wait 7 years this to make the next Golden Sun.
So... uh, I've been purposefully staying underleveled (using avoid a lot and running from plenty of random battles) and this game is still far too easy. What gives?
Errr... It's Golden Sun, it's always been laughably easy. The only "challenging" thing in the series was getting through Air's Rock without going insane. Even the so-called "super bosses" were a joke.
No, this is far easier than GS1 or 2, I don't think you've played it if all you have to say is "It's Golden Sun"
Honestly, I'm avoiding tons of exp and yet most enemies don't even get a single turn against me. I shouldn't feel like I'm overleveled when I'm running from half of the fights!
With it being like this, the game might as well not have fights. (Also, I'm not doing some cheap ass shit like abusing summons or anything, I rarely use them at all... I used em on a couple of bosses. Also, note that I am like 13 hours in and it's still this easy)
I certainly played the originals, I loved them when I was younger. However, before this game came out, I replayed both and they were remarkably easy. Hard mode on GS 2 fixed things a bit, but it still was rather straightforward, as far as RPGs go.
I remember having trouble with the final bosses in GS1 when I was drastically underleveled. I grinded for about 2 hours and was able to beat it without any trouble.
Hopefully I can pick this up in a month or so, when I'm done with:
Assassin's Creed II + Brotherhood
Tales of Vesperia
Lufia DS
Valkyria Chronicles
It's going on the list....
I wish this would work on my Cyclo... TC has been gone for a while and even though they're back, they haven't brought the forums back. Waiting for a patch or for a local store to get it in, I guess.
