Mythos Linkshell


Our Vision

Mythos Linkshell is a new linkshell for the upcoming MMO Final Fantasy XIV. We are dedicated to building a good community that is dedicated to helping its members and meeting people to have fun with. We strive to learn the game and its mechanics and to progress as far we can, as well as to build strong relationships through communication and reliability.


Play Styles

Mythos will begin as a social Linkshell with the goal of leveling up, doing quests, missions, and learning the game. As time goes on, we will be delving into more demanding activities. There is no rush to get to level cap or to endgame, we just want to enjoy the experience first and foremost. If and when the need arises to do more involved activites, we will either form a secondary Linkshell and pair Mythos with it in a Company atmosphere or expand this one and decide our path. If opportunity arises to where we may join another established Company, it will be discussed with all Linkshell members and officers before any decision is made.


Server

We have decided on Figaro server in which to start our journey, more details will be available closer to release date on September, 22, 2010.


Rules

Rules and regulations for Mythos Linkshell will be discussed and determined at a later date by all Linkshell members and officers, and all ideas will be put to a vote on our website. We want everyone to have a say, and want to create a system that people will enjoy.


Recruitment

Mythos Linkshell is currently accepting all Races and Classes, including crafting classes. We are looking to fill our Disciple of War and Magic ranks first, and we recommend that people attempt a crafting class as well. If you are only interested in Disciple of Land and Hand ranks, thats okay too! We want members to not feel pressured to do a certain thing, we just want people to have fun. We are looking for a few officers to handle day to day activites and scheduling as the need arises, as well as many members to fill our ranks. There is an application on our website for people to fill out. Do not let any of the questions discourage you from applying, as we are going to be very open in our recruitment process until we get to a point where we have an established member base. Update! We have merged with a couple like minded linkshells to form a strong base for launch! You can still apply on my website, the server is decided as Figaro for launch. We are all running under one linkshell, "Eorzea Corps" for beta, and may do this for launch too. We hope some of you are interested in joining and look forward to seeing you in game.
