there is some truth tho. FFXI's players confidence in SE has been so shattered that if the worst happens they'll probably believe it.

I've played wow for 4 years and FFXI for about 7 now, I have zero faith in SE's customer service team and I honestly live in utter fear of anything happening to my account that would require contacting customer service..whether as a result of my mistake or theirs. I'm already scared what will happen when my CC is renewed next year. SE's "customer service" to me are basically the devil and to be feared and avoided at all costs. As a company nothing they do anymore would suprise me, I can totally see them blocking accounts out of this, no matter how crazy and unjust that would be. They honestly just don't seem to give a fuck.

On the opposite end of the spectrum I play wow as I have said and have done for years, I have no problems contacting CS about any problems I have with the game and see them as actually there to help me as a valued customer. If only my prefered game had such a pleasant feeling associated with it.

Also some of those leg armors are pretty skimpy on the female model *-* looks like sch, rdm and dnc af3

Well I suppose looking at this a second time I am a bit worried. For now I think I'll keep my FFXI account NA but I'll make a second JP square enix account to use FFXIV, if that can be pulled off at all. Means I can't get the monthly fee discount from having both games, but owell.

Edit: If there's no trick this is actually great news for EU FFXI importers as we could get the benefits without starting over or linking a new XI account.

Ok, sounds like a change to help those that moved or imported then. They probably simply allowed the switch without removing FFXI/POL accounts.

True but now that I think about it... FFXI billing has nothing to do with SE accounts. All the SE account does is allow you to link a token to it.
If switching still allows you to play and use token I'd assume everything is fine. Then again, this is SE.

What about logging into your FFXI details inside POL etc? Like can you still access your info/update card stuff inside US POL client even though you've changed to Euro SE account now? I assume/hope nothing like that is affected also. Credit cards expire and need changing, plus we've still got at least 1 more expansion to buy!
