So I'm guessing the order of the head gear on that page is:
Summoner
Ranger
MNK or PLD
Scholar
Puppetmaster
Corsair
Blue Mage
Dragoon
Ninja
Samurai
Bard
Beastmaster?
Dark Knight
Thief
Monk/Paladin
Dancer
White Mage
It's all looking very close to the jobs in FF5.
Hmm yes.

I wonder if that new magian style moogle will be added to the abyssea zones to let us spend merit points without leaving the zone? That would be pretty freaking baller if so, since I can't really see any other reason to introduce a moogle to any of the current non-abyssea zones; especially a magian one.
Not sure why people expected the full AF3 set in one update. The original AF set was tiered, AF2 was tiered, why wouldn't AF3 be tiered as well?
AF3 + Moogle = Custom AF?
New stuff always makes me so excited.... really hoping that jesters hat is pup :D or at least easily obtainable
Hopefully, otherwise gonna be like +VIT/enhances mug II, Enmity and INT for WAR and the like (except for the "new" jobs, which they got right)
SE should put a method in Abyssea to spend your merit points
Could be but relic weapons have only one path you can follow so AF3 may be the same. I'm only hoping they actually add a new inventory with 80 slots because right now this update screams "inventory-30" for me ><
And most likely even with a full set you won't be able to store AF3.
I feel like the whole point of Trial of the Magians is to be able to make the kind of equipment you want to use. I think it would be foolish for SE to blank all of the AF3 and force you to do the trials just to unlock the stats and not give you a chance to decide where you want to go with them. I have a feeling that the pieces will have the basic stats (like HP/MP/STR, etc.) in small amounts and then you can add one "job specific stat" out of a list of available options (similar to the add-on final reward) to each piece via trials. So, if you're a DNC, for instance, maybe you can decide if you want to add "Enhances Building Flourish Effect" if you prefer a WS enhancing piece for your job, or maybe "Enhances Reverse Flourish Effect" if you prefer to create a piece for yourself that helps with TP acquisition.
Well that explains why I didn't see anything that I thought was PLD or BLM.Hmm yes.

Not bad looking stuff so far at least.
