    Open Beta Installer

I'm having problems with the connections, even though the port is opened and all, but i'm not connecting to any remote connection and only getting 4~8 Local connections.
is this normal since since its an early stage of the open beta or what?

Yea your not alone, the first update it did went by pretty quick. Now this 2nd update where it says "File: H2010.08.30.2000 [1/2]" the speed keeps shooting up to like 700-800 kb/s then back down to 1-10 kb/s range. The progress hasn't changed at all though, 0.0% -_- Local Connection: 14 so far

I began downloading at 6pm est last night, around 6 hours into it I hit 51 local connections and was downloading at 1.7mb/s but now I am at a steady 8.7 kb/s and it will take a decade to finish this shit

    fffffffffff

Says 8 local connections for me, 0 remote. Downloading is absolutely at 0.0b/s. Edit: Now it completely stopped.

Are you sure it jumps up to 700-800 KB? I jumped for joy when i saw the number 500, but realised it was b/s...

Is this installer any different from the P3 installer?

There is an update, but if you already have the B3 client installed, should be fine with just the update.

    I think.

Hmm good point it may have been b/s xD it's steady now though. It seems like the more local connections you get the smoother it gets, its still jumping all around from 5-60kb/s but at least its not hitting 0. 6.8% done with 25 hours in the Time Remaining -_- Uploading speed @ a steady 90-100 kb/s

I got really good speeds froim the client (300-800), once again check your port forwarding people!
For those of you with linksys, if you play with your router often, it will reset which PC gets which ip. so make sure your forwarding is to the correct pc.

If I'm using DMZplus mode, do I still need to worry about those ports? And wasn't the game supposed to be like 10 GB? This first big file is only about 5 GB, do we have a second 5 GB file coming after we finish the first?

    Open up ports:

54992 to 55551 on TCP. And ports 55296 to 55551 on UDP.

    Thx

Any idea how to specify these ports for 2 pcs, from the router?

You can't forward one port to 2 PCs, if that's what you mean. That goes against the entire purpose of port forwarding.

I forwarded the ports 55269 to 55551 and now getting better speed, connecting to only 2 local connections and 45+ remote connections..

but, whats the deal with time remaining is it for 1 file or both files?
