Update DirectX DirectX Update Runtime, Run As Administrator, Turn UAC Off. Seem to be the common ways of fixing it. Do the DirectX thing first. If you get a Cryptographic Service error then download this one DirectX Update Runtime Standalone.

And registration is not back up for NA. Your browser has it cached. It's still giving an error and the second link is a Maintenance page.

Getting a blank white screen on booting up the client. Anything special I should be doing?

Uh, so I zoomed through it, chose to accept terms of service then it told me to verify my information on the site, but I don't see anywhere to verify my SE info. Am I fucking dumb or am I missing something?

If you are at entry.ffxiv.com, the 'apply for beta' button is atm hardcoded to error you out. Use this URL, it bypasses the handoff and takes you directly to the SE account login.

edit: and IE (*twitch*) gives me the temp. suspension of beta applications message. Bedtime, I guess!

Must have seen it 1000 times. Switched to IE Tab for Firefox, got my TOS / Email sent. Now I am spamming my account page... which oddly enough i was able to hit every single time i tried until I got my code =P
