Open Beta Started - Keys Currently Avaliable

I managed to get signed up around 6am CDT... but since then Hotmail (yeahyeah, old account too lazy to change over to gmail, reconsidering that now though) has been having login errors out the ass and I can't check if I even got the email. Cue obligatory FML?

It doesn't seem unreasonable that there'd be a small day one patch though, imo.

I'm sure they won't have any big changes, but it wouldn't shock me at all if a few of the minor things still get smoothed out some.

Agreed. the game is already printed to fill the orders, but beta/beta2/beta3/openBeta are all changes to be done to the "Kernel" off FF14 when we log in for the firstime.

Small? The day one patch is going to have everything they have done since pressing the discs and the current state of the game. I wouldn't be surprised if it is at least as large as a normal patch.

I'm probably just old fashioned, but the sense of ownership from having the disks is kinda nice :: shrug ::.

School started here on Monday. My students started moving in on the 23rd. Is your school on the quarter system? Or do your finals go really long into Decemeber?

Ouch... don't know what else to tell you. I got a site down error last night, but this morning I got my keys. When I went to register them, I got a site down error again. So I haven't registered my keys yet, but I am not pressed to get on the open beta as some people.

I used Automator to load like 30 pages in 3 seconds and I got past the server error screen and logged in, after which point it told me beta keys were suspended, just like the thread title currently states. So don't even try now. It is pretty stupid of them to display it there and not at the top of the site though.

It takes quite a while to 'print' and 'box' hundreds of thousands of discs. It's been 'Gold' for at least a month now - everything that's been changed since after August 1st(for sure) will be patched in.

Winter semester start October 1st for most universities in Poland and lasts until February (finals starting at the end of January), summer semester is from February to finals in June.
