It boggles my mind at how just one person every few hours says they - or 'their friend' got a random code. I highly doubt if SE was going to 'toggle' the code page on and off, they wouldn't do so for 15 seconds and that's it. Seems like a complete waste of the IT teams time to constantly keep enabling/disabling the page.

More QQ: I stayed up til 4am my time when stuff was supposed to open, I got to the login page when the button popped, but when I tried to log in everything had already crashed (apparently). Then sat there trying unil 7:30am after which I fell asleep, randomly waking up every 1-1.5hr and tried to log in a few times and went back to sleep.. Continously got the server is busy or maint thing. I did this all the way up to noon when I dragged myself out of bed and had a ton of coffee. Been trying about 5 to 15min since.. I'm having big hopes for the 24hr mark in about 5min tho. /staypositive /staypositive /drinkmorecoffee

Still, I'm seriously sad in the pants/frustrated with this nonsense, mostly referring to the lack of information.

All SE needs to do is say that they wont be releasing beta keys for at least X amount of hours.

That way, even if they exceed those amount of hours, all they need to do is repost another estimated time.

Would be far less troublesome than coming back to the computer every 10 mins to refresh a beta app login page.

I'm lucky in that a laptop sits right next to me at work all day, but others aren't in the same boat. /=

I got a code for myself around 4:30am this morning and a code for my girlfriend an hour or two after that. Don't know about anyone else during the day but I don't have anything to gain by bullshitting.

edit: working on getting a code for my friend now so I'll say something if I get through.

I was mainly referring to people who've said they got some recently - there was more then quite a few people who said they got some at the same time frame as yours; I think that's about the time they just 'shut it off' and it hasn't been 'turned back on'. There was a few hundred people who said they got keys through that time - which is a lot more believable then 1 person who said their friend got one at x time - and no one else did.

Well at least it's really easy to get to the "temporarily suspended" page now. Think people are giving up or have they widened the server limit for those pages?

It's been cycling though out the entire day in 'blocks' as far as I can tell. Every so often I'll go from not ever being able to get to the login page(get a server is busy error), to being able to login and get to the suspended page, and about 2 5 minute blocks I got nothing but mait. pages. Little frustrating when SE doesn't want to release a press release on what their 'master plan' is. 'Check back later' just turns into a huge cop-out and is pretty annoying, luckily I work from a computer most of the day so I can keep it tabbed up; I feel bad for people sitting at home F5'ing hoping it will jsut randomly come up lol.
