Not a random question, but there is no DRG Findings thread (Though this would appropriately fit What's better as well). With the recent update, I think Stingray+1 and Corsesca+1 should be reevaluated. In the former's case, a 5-hit is attainable through this set: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/178142. In the latter's case, you need to use this set: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/178145.

During the TP phase, it's (Stingray+1 : Corsesca+1):

[2STR + 5ACC + 23ATT + 1% Haste + 15 Less Delay + 29Base DMG] v [1.4 avg hits instead of 1]

During the WS phase it's:

[29Base DMG] v Nothing

Pragmatic arguments: Tactical mantle has yet to be found (Well I think we know the NM it comes from, but I haven't seen any pictures of drops). Furthermore, Stingray+1 can utilize Ace's feet + Bullwhip belt to maintain the same Haste/sTP, but Corsesca cannot.

In short: Can we claim Stingray's superiority over Corsesca+1?

Nah, first of all, during TP phase, [2STR + 5ACC + 23ATT + 1% Haste + 15 Less Delay + 29Base DMG] will not top 40% more hits. Second of all, Corsesca+1 won't get nothing from WS, it will gain WS frequency from all the swings that 2STR 23ATT and 29Base DMG won't give.

In addition to that, now with spirit and soul jump and the fact that OAT proc during jump just make Corsesca+1 that much better. It is really no contest.

rdm/nin x2. Fight at conflux, use ascetic's tonic full time, zerg it down, using ethers, and warping back to conflux 1 to buy more meds when you need to. Takes around 25 mins to duo (or it did at 80).

Do you Pin him? kite him? bounce him? Mostly I don't have rdm, but I have pup for the whole DAD thing or SCH though that means i can't /nin unless all I have to do is nuke.

I used to straight tank and run if I needed shadows at any point. The trees worked well to mess with it's pathing and gave time to cast even Ichi very easily. This may not work as well any more since Ovni is now Flee speed.

Rdm + sch probably wouldn't be able to do it as fast as rdm2x. Obviously rdm 2x sch should have no difficulties.

So is the strat just to slow him and just keep up shadows? Sounds simple enough I guess. Does everyone stay in range for his 1k needs like attack?

Finally: Does he have a spawn site, or does he roam the entire map?

Is the error to do with new items? I didn't try equip any new items at all in my macros and yet it still crashes out on me... Thanks for the help though ^^

Doesn't matter if you have them in your macro or not, since spellcast checks every slot you have equipped. If you're wearing new gear, spellcast will crash.

It's similar to campaign, but you get good chunks of exp after each mob instead of at the end of the battle. You start by going to the outpost area, in Vunkerl Abyssea, it's around I-9. It'll say there is a battle coming soon, talk to some dude there, he's on a pedestal, ask for something similar to tags, starts with a "p". Then it'll give a warning how close they are to the camp, which is like 5 steps away almost and just kill shit basically. Terrible description, I know.
