He seems to take paths circling the central mountain fairly frequently; I often catch him by the bone structure or Jaguarundi. I've also seen him by the bats and Conflux 2, and as far north as the martello near the Thalassinion. Haven't been able to work out an actual walking pattern though.

Apologies if this has been covered at length elsewhere (if so just link me) but I've just got back after the update and I cant decide between sTP or WSdmg Keitonotachi.

My gear is nothing spectacular (read: no usukane) and I would have to sacrifice haste and STR to get 5 hit it seems. But there's alot more sTP option in the AF3 gear, which is it exciting. Are these paticularly difficult to get/upgrade at the moment?

Prior to this update, the order was Upgraded Relic > OA2 > Masamune > STR > Store TP with 5 hit > 91 base damage (450 delay)

NQ Sam here, but my rule of thumb is don't sacrifice haste for a 5-hit. Even if you don't have usu, you can make a 5-hit work with ACP body, rose strap, and carbonara (or goading belt), and you can sit comfortably at 20% haste without /drg. I really don't recommend replacing atk food.

Is anyone else getting issues with /logout and /shutdown in mog house? Three times now I've tried logging out and shutting down and it doesn't respond. Not even from the menu works. Happening on main account and mule.

Don't start a lance you cannot continue. In terms of future upgrades, it looks like this hierarchy takes place:

OAT Lance > STP Lance (To the extent it enables X-hit builds superiors to other lances) > DA Lance > STR Lance

Edit: Excluding Relic/Mythic/Empyrean on the assumption that you cannot complete them.

Well you would want the OAT lance over that lance anyways unless you're fighting a new JOL that rips your pDIF into pieces. If you want a temporary lance, I would argue for the sTP lance (Something I actually plan on doing at some point in the future).

Ok, so I was trying to replace my icons w/ custom ones and I had a file i downloaded earlier (which apparently was the entire UI swap). I don't want that any more >.>. Anyone have the orig UI dat files and the file w/ only the custom JA icons so i can put those back and delete the rest?

Download this and choose "FFXI Default" on whatever you're unsatisfied with.
