Hey, you take the time to type out what gear you use and ask for suggestions, I am going to assume you took a few moments and actually checked over what you typed. Thats 2 typos in 1 set of gear. Lil proofreading goes a long way.

I disagree. It would be easier to pick and choose what you want to answer without having to scroll through pages at a time. It would also be easier to keep track of hot issues, or worse, having your question overwhelmed by the current hot issue.

You could try COR soloing it if you convince someone to do that for you (I can't find anyone competent enough to do that that has COR leveled). QD should produce zero TP, so he should never get the slimes off.

How would you stop it from killing you with melee attacks? Is there a pin spot for it?

Also, if Avatar magic pacts produce 0 TP like the physical ones (and your summoner is competent enough to dismiss before the avatar is hit) that could be an option too.

I read every single post in random question anyway, and i'm sure plenty others do too, so not much advantage there. Plus most that don't read every post probably skip right past most posts anyway.

Time saved by having all posts about one issue together would probably be about equal to the time lost going through a million threads anyway, especially since 99% of questions are answered with a single post.

Most people don't read every post, and there are some great discussions that occurred in this thread that most people don't see because it is just too dense and interrupted by other questions and posts.

It is a preferential difference really, nothing substantial, but in the end I just feel like a lot of the FFXI area has become too condensed. It may be time to expand on some successful ideas and give them space to grow.

There are other areas of the forum that could be pruned too, like the Aeon section, but that is a different discussion.

Well if bg wiki is still up and running you could add a random question or what's better tab to things. Integrating the data and faqs from here into wiki form would be quite useful.
